The salesperson told me the vehicle was perfect on the outside & in, knowing I was driving 2 hrs, said he would have it waiting on me. We arrive at dealership & take it for a test drive....outside was very clean, car seemed to run well.....luckily my husband decided to start pushing buttons & checking things out, after further inspection we realized the a/c & sunroof didn't work:( The salesman said that many people don't use the sunroof & he was sure the a/c was fixable. So we go to make a deal & write up a contract, he told us to make an offer, so we made an offer $450 under asking price & ask that these two things be fixed. After speaking to the owner, the sales man comes back & says they want full asking price & they wont fix sunroof!! As you can imagine I wasn't happy after calling ahead to check on condition of vehicle & driving 2 hrs to have my time wasted on junk! I know they thought we would cave & buy.....for the most part even after coming home mad I was gonna call & reoffer to take with a discount due to sunroof not being fixed, however I came home to further reseach the dealership.....glad I did!! These reviews speak for themselves, out of 6 reviews I read only 1 happy customer. More
Terrible Dealership!!! I'm not going to waste my time saying a whole lot about these guys, but I would definitely recommended going elsewhere to buy a vehicle...or to even g I'm not going to waste my time saying a whole lot about these guys, but I would definitely recommended going elsewhere to buy a vehicle...or to even get an oil change, for that matter. They're salesman are shysters...service advisors are liars...service technicians are lazy and very complacent...and the owner, well... is the root of the poisonous plant!!! Don't expect them to go above and beyond!!! Once they have your money...their job is done!!! I just can't waste anymore time reviewing these guys. Buyer beware!!! More

We pretty much knew what we were interested in and filled out the financial application online. The next day we got a call to schedule an appointment, found out we were approved and was able to get a few questions answered quickly. We went in and test drove the car (Toyota Camry), knew it was the one, and got what we feel was an excellent deal. Sales guy Steve was great. I would highly recommend this dealership. More
Well first off the sales guy was a nice guy. I would have to say my complaint is more about the practices there, and not so much the salesman. I drove a vehicle that I wanted to purchase. They told me they w to say my complaint is more about the practices there, and not so much the salesman. I drove a vehicle that I wanted to purchase. They told me they were so busy that day that I would have to wait until the next day to even know if I could get financed. I guess their longtime financial person recently left, and instead of hiring someone who knows what they are doing, they have pat ferris the owner doing it instead. Their schtick was that "pat ferris" is on, or knows someone on the board of trustee's at a certain local bank. So I fill out the paperwork, they call me (saturday) the next day and tell me that I have been approved and we scheduled a time for me to come in and fill out the paperwork (on monday). So about halfway through my work day (on monday)i get a call (from rich) saying that the deal isn't final yet, they will call me when it's done, eventhough they have told me i was approved, and moved the vehicle behind the building and put a sold sign on it. So I go all night, with no phone call, so i call them and ask what's up with it. He then tells me that now this local bank that pat ferris is on the board of is saying that they cant finance me with a 1000$ down. Which is fine, I have zero credit history, so i wasn't surprised. The part that angered me is that they told me it had been sent through and approved which makes me wonder if they just told me that so i wouldn't look elsewhere for a vehicle (which essentially i ended up wasting a good weekend not looking, thinking i had a vehicle) I accepted a job 35 miles away also because of this (the purpose for my search in the first place, the position was contingent on me having a more reliable car) To find out they cant finance me. So he says the only way it can go through now is if i have a cosigner. At this point, i just stopped talking with them. I didn't care for the bank they were using anyway, as an employee there was fired for stealing money, which was actually my former loan officer on my previous car that i own now. He told me to write his name on my cash payments (i payed cash because i was young and stupid, and was also a waitress at the time) and essentially he ruined my credit as he was not applying my payments to the loan apparently, leaving me with 30 some late payments on my credit history that i had to hire and pay someone to fight with the bank to remove, which they did, since the guy was convicted (and i have on record that he also came to my residence to collect payment?) again, young and stupid, and he was always threatening me with a repo, eventhough i made payments regularly. Anyway, So i start wondering why cant they use a different bank, as i was approved through another dealership and bank on that same saturday, but preferred the lower miles on the car i saw at ferris. THEN it hit me that they push the fact so hard that pat ferris is on the board of the bank they wanted to use and possibly didn't even look anywhere else for financing, because the bank obviously makes money off of every loan they give. All and all it was a disappointing experience. It was rude, premature, and unprofessional to tell me i had been approved when i hadn't, and the whole obsession with the one bank thing is obviously due to the affiliations of the owner. I would say these people have their own best interests at heart, and when i say that, i mean the owner. To let a sale walk because you wont look at other banks is ridiculous. You would think that they would do anything to sell a car. Not here. More
I bought a used truck for $20k at Ferris Chevrolet. This has been, by far, the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership! Within 2 weeks of buying this truck it was un driveable. It left my wif has been, by far, the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership! Within 2 weeks of buying this truck it was un driveable. It left my wife stranded in Pennsylvania 2 weeks after my purchase. Their service department had my truck for 4 weeks without touching it until I finally contacted the owner and magicly my parts showed up with in 15 minutes of talking to him. I got my truck back and realized that they had not done what they said they did. Parts that were suposed to be replaced were not and they have yet to make it right with me. The people at Ferris Chevrolet are liers and cheaters! They can not be trusted and I will tell all my friends and family to never do business with this company! More
