I have dealt with this dealer in the past but this is the first time since Mark Paddack has taken over. My experience with Mark was nothing but positive. Even though I wasn't ready to purchase a new car tr first time since Mark Paddack has taken over. My experience with Mark was nothing but positive. I expect the cars made by Ferrari to deliver a world class experience... and they do. What I didn't expect was to have a world class experience with the San Francisco Ferrari dealership... but I did. class experience... and they do. I've bought and sold many high end cars over my life time and I've learned to tolerate mediocrity in many of the dealerships where I've done these transactions. I had a wonderful experience buying my new car. All of the people I came in contact with during the purchasing of my new car where incredible to work with down to Hugo the detail manager. I was referred to Ferrari Maserati of San Francisco by a friend, as I was looking to purchase a used Maserati. I was warmly greeted by Kelly Lowry when I arrived. My experience with Ferrari/Maserati of San Francisco was a very rewarding and overall positive experience. The dealer was available to answer all my questions regarding the vehicle and was quick to respond a very rewarding and overall positive experience. The dealer was available to answer all my questions regarding the vehicle and was quick to respond to my inquiries on price and my negotiations related to price flexibility, availability of the vehicle and options available for completing the sale on an out of state purchase. It was advantageous to go with Maserati/Ferrari of San Francisco because of the knowledgeable staff who provided me with the resources needed, although I was remote. I was able to negotiate price and was provided with a fair price for my purchase; I received the car after it was transported from the west coast to east and I am happy with my purchase. Thanks to Kelly Lowry and Tom McAfee, the sales process for out of state purchases has never been easier. I have bought multiple cars from multiple locations and this was by far the easiest transaction because of the skills this team has in making sure that the process is seamless and centralized. Ferrari and Maserati of San Francisco is a great dealership! I have only good things to say about James Todd and Mark Paddack. Initially I came into the dealership around April to look at the Masera dealership! I have only good things to say about James Todd and Mark Paddack. Initially I came into the dealership around April to look at the Maserati Granturismo S. I was expecting the employees at this dealership to be stuffy and look down upon me because of my young age. It was nice that I was treated with the utmost respect. James showed me a slick looking 2011 GTS and took me for a test drive around Sausalito. Unfortunately I didn't purchase the car for the worry of it not making it up my driveway. I was glad that both James and Mark were understanding of the issue and did not pester me about it. About 4-5 months later I saw a used 2010 GTS on their website and came into the dealership to look at it. James again took me for a test drive and I ended up buying the Maserati. James was there every step of the way emailing and calling me in regards to my questions and requests. Mark was also able to throw in 2 new rear tires along with a 3 year Certified preowned warranty on top of the remaining 2 years of the original warranty. Although there were better deals on eBay and Craigslist, I would much rather work with a local dealership and have that piece of mind. About a month and a half after I bought the Maserati I received a check engine light. I emailed James and he provided me with the information to the service center in San Rafael. I called the service center and my name, car model and VIN was already in their system - so that was nice. I brought the car for them to look at and within 15 minutes, they had one of their technicians plug in the debugger to find out what the root of the issue was. Turns out it was only a loose gas cap (which was weird because I didn't get gas for the past 3 weeks). Luckily it was a quick fix and I wasn't charged anything. I love the kind staff, the smooth sales process and understanding that they have at both Ferrari and Maserati of San Francisco and their service center in San Rafael. Can't wait to purchase my Ferrari from them! More
