As I went into the Dealership I was not pounced on like prey. I was greeted well and cordially, invited to ask more questions than I was ask. This made me relaxed as I only came in to look, not buy. I had peeked at THE CX-9 on the way in and it was available. After a test ride I was impressed, then the warranty made me more interested, then the financing and the friendliness, sold the deal. I hated to see my 2002 Mazda Protege go bye bye but I know she'll be in good hands. We had 11 years together with nothing but good service. Hopefully in the next 11 years I'll be back to purchase another Mazda from Ferman. Thanks and The whole Team Gets a Job well done! More
NEVER AGAIN!!!! I bought a brand new 2005 RX8 in 2006... Ferman Mazda in Brandon, FL. is now telling me it needs a 3rd... YES ...3rd new engine!!!! I have spent over 11,000.00 in repair bills in the past 6 Ferman Mazda in Brandon, FL. is now telling me it needs a 3rd... YES ...3rd new engine!!!! I have spent over 11,000.00 in repair bills in the past 6 months alone! Go anywhere but Ferman... And DONT buy a Mazda!!!! The service department and the receptionist who answers the phone stated they don't know the dealership owners name. Mazda corporation said I should have bought the extended warranty!! Why can't they make a quality product with and engine that lasts more than 60k miles! I have more than 35 pages of repair bills from the dealer. What was to be my dream car - turned out to be my biggest nightmare! More
I searched for a car online until I came to Ferman Mazda of Brandon. I stooped by the dealership only to look at the Nissan Altima I saw online. I drove up and Mr. Fenton greeted me at my car. I shared with him what I was looking for and he guided me to my car. I test drove the caar and was in love with it. We walked back to the building to complete the paperwork and to be honest it was the most non-complicated process I have ever been through with a dealership. David Fenton was very knowledgable in his field. The entire process was outstanding. I sisgned paperwork and was off to finacing. I am leaving out a couple of things but I would only be bragging about my salesman. He guided to financing and all I needed to do was to complete paperwork. This entire process was so easy with the assistance of David Fenton. If you ever need to purchase a car I suggest you see David. Very knowledgeable and an awesome personality and knows the business. Purchasing my Mazada3 from Ferman was hands-down one THE BEST buying experiences I have ever had. Right from the start, Emmitt Crenshaw was very, very easy to work with. Though I was interested in one s BEST buying experiences I have ever had. Right from the start, Emmitt Crenshaw was very, very easy to work with. Though I was interested in one specific model, color and feature set; he was extremely knowledgeable about all vehicles in the Ferman Mazda inventory. I have purchased quite a few brand new vehicles in my lifetime and the start-to-finish process was never this easy. I had also visited 3 other dealerships in the area – some more than once – but did not receive nearly the outstanding customer service that I did at Ferman Mazda. Though the dealership was almost an hour from my home; the trip was more than worth it for the experience. In additional to working closely with Emmitt; I also had the pleasure to meet and work with William Bates who went above and beyond to make this purchase seamless and smooth. I am absolutely in love with this new car and plan to make the drive to visit the dealership for service when needed. I have and will continue to happily recommend not only the Mazda dealership but, the entire family of Ferman dealerships to friends and family. It is the level of customer service, attention and patience that Emmitt and William showed that make such a large purchase seem not so stressful. More
My daughter traded her Honda Fit for a Mazda 3 in 2011 at this dealership. She loved her car, and so when they invited her to trade up to the new model this year, she said YES!. Guy Recchia made it so easy, that between Guy, and William Bates, she was out of the dealership in less than 2 hours. When my wife saw the quality and features of her car, she drove right down there the next day and bought a CX-5. With all the new safety features, and the quality of workmanship, she will be safe and comfortable in her new baby. The trio of Guy, Bill, and Jimmie did an excellent job of meeting our numbers and questions, and I can recommend them without reservation for their candor, and professionalism. Thanks guys!!! More
I had spoken for days with Chris and his manager Brian in the internet dept. regarding buying a new MX-5 Miata. I advised them I would be in "Tuesday" but gave no time frame. Chris called me back to tell me the internet dept. regarding buying a new MX-5 Miata. I advised them I would be in "Tuesday" but gave no time frame. Chris called me back to tell me he was moving a "Liquid Silver" color car over from another lot for me. I called 90 minutes before I arrived on Tuesday to tell them I would be there in an hour and a half, but Chris was not there and Brian was "busy". When I arrived, another rep (Stephen) showed me a "Copper Red" color I was also looking for, (but I wanted manual and this one was automatic.) He told me they did not have the silver one there afterall (no one called me to advise they either sold it before I got there "or" never brought it over from their "alternate" lot like Chris told me he was going to do. (This, after about 8 different people called me after my first call to them.) They were very agressive in their initial calls to me but when I went there for the test drive Stephen seemed so lackadaisical about the whole thing. I was disappointed and left there and went to Wesley Chapel Mazda. I ended up buying a fully loaded Grand Touring MX at Wesley Chapel Mazda and was very pleased with the entire buying experience with Wesley Chapel Mazda. They were happy to have my business and were very professional, friendly and non agressive during my car buying experience with them. It's too bad Ferman Mazda (Of Brandon) was evidently not interested in my business because they could have just gotten the car I wanted from another dealer if we had been able to work out a deal. In conclusion, I would "not" recommend this dealership to a friend or family member. But I would recommend Wesley Chapel Mazda!!! More
We had decided on a Mazda CX9 from reading Consumer Reports repair records and their calling it a hidden gem plus talking to owners in our area. When we fed what we wanted into a buying service we received a firm number that Ferman of Brandon would sell us the car for within minutes. We were contacted by Brian in the internet department and put together a deal without going into the dealership. They located a car with all that we wanted on it plus it several had more things that we didn't need but did not increase the price. I had arranged excellent financing someplace else but when I told them what I had they not only met the rate but beat it. They took time to show us all the features and connected our cell phones thru the Blue Tooth. From beginning to end it was the most pain free experience we have ever had in buying a new car. Brian's comment at the end was “You came in here loaded for bear didn't you.” Yes I did and they took the wind out of my sails. From beginning to end it was the most pain free experience we have ever had in buying a new car. More
