Ferman Ford has not honored Ford’s 60,000 mile warranty I brought my 2015 Transit Van in for service 6 times for the same problem - my transmission was causing a vibration at 60-70 miles per hour. I brought I brought my 2015 Transit Van in for service 6 times for the same problem - my transmission was causing a vibration at 60-70 miles per hour. I brought it in twice at Freedom Ford in New York State and 4 times at Ferman Ford, Clearwater FL. Every time I brought it in I was told that it was due to a recall - the driveshaft flexible coupling needed to be replaced. It was replaced multiple times and at one point I was told to wait for a new supperior coupling and that the ones that were used as replacement the first few times were flawed. I waited nearly 6 weeks for the new coupling and after it replaced the older flawed coupling, the vibrations continued. Each time I was told that the problem was solved. One of the service visits I was told that the tires need to be rotated and that was probably the problem. Once again I was told that it solved the problem. It did not. I use the Van for business and travel all over the country ... so while this was going on I went over the 60,000 mile warranty by 700 miles. For over one year I had been bringing the vehicle in for service for the same problem. I was told that I needed to pay $1,850.03 including tax because I was over the 60,000 mile limit. I desperately needed the van for another trip to Pennsylvania and afterwards Indiana so I had no choice but to accept the ultimatum. Not only am I going on social media so everyone knows that Ford does not honor its warranties, but I will be going to small claims court ... and if that doesn’t satisfy me I will go to an attorney for a replacement of the vehicle. More
