I made an appt via the Internet and Jason called to confirm shortly thereafter. He showed up early at the dealership to meet me. I already knew the style/color of the CX-5 in which I was interested. I explained that I had read some information in some Forums about the CX-5 being underpowered, especially in highway on-ramp and passing situations. Our test drive on the highway proved otherwise. He explained all the features on the car and answered my questions. Before discussing any prices, I wanted an evaluation/offer on my trade in. He arranged that and I was given a fair price for my trade. The negotiation of the price of the vehicle was very laid back with no high pressure tactics at all. I was given an out the door price which was appreciated, straightforward and avoided any surprises you usually get once you go to the finance/business office. The final agreed upon price was given to the business office and I signed for what was negotiated with the sales office. Made buying the car very simple and easy. The finance manager was very friendly and explained some extended warranty plans I could choose from, if interested. Jason then further explained and went over the features of the car and helped set some up for me. An appt was made for the first servicing and Jason described the service dept procedures. Had 4 tires nitrogen filled and balanced for $65. They filed them with the wrong tire pressure. 33Lbs instead of 70Lbs. I told the serviceman his gauge might be off and he didn't seem concerned. Oscar Bryant was my sales person and he was helping me find something for 2 weeks before I even came into the store and met him face to face. He is the only reason I gave all 5's as I didn't have to inter find something for 2 weeks before I even came into the store and met him face to face. He did not send in other negotiators like most dealerships. I spoke to his boss maybe once or twice, but my experience at other places is that you see multiple sales people that are above the initial person. I liked only dealing with Oscar. More
