wiring/ short in the car I brought my car in because the Computer was shorting out. I explained when I came in back on June 10th, that something is shorting out the computer. I advised that i was able to unplug the neg cable and make the engine light go away and fix the car until it shorts out again. They first insisted the problem was the TIPM basically all the FUSES for the car. It was over $700 and did not fix the problem, infact it lasted about a month before the computer shorted out again. Now they told me its the computer that needs to be replaced, They wanted another $900.for it. They agreed to knock the price down to around $550. They also guaranteed me this would fix my car and if it ends up being something else its on them because for the $700 repair that didn't need to be done and the $550 computer that didn't need to be done the car could have been repaired if they diagnosed it properly.Well guess what it didn't fix the issue so I had to again bring my car back in August, They kept my car for a week, they didn't let me know what was going on and they didn't give me a loaner. I picked up the car and it lasted less than a month once again. This time i got the GM involved Jason Whidden who said he would take care of. He set appt so that i could have loaner this time and not be without a car for a week again. I got the car back and this time they replaced 2 wires that are the supposed cause of the short but still have not fixed the car the computer is still shorting out. After placing this review I was called by the GM Jason who set us up with a loaner so that they could again attempt repair. They got Chrysler on the phone and they replaced the ignition. When I picked up the car I drove across the street for dinner and the car shorted out again. We immediately returned to the dealership where they gave us the loaner car back. They searched high and low throughout the wiring but have not been able to locate what is shorting out the computer. They replaced the computer and attempted multiple times to short out the computer the same way I was. I think it Has to do with T15 circuit since of the codes before it shorts out was p0882 which also relates to listening to the radio while the car is not running. To me that seemed to be when the short was occurring. I picked up the car this morning 11/8/16 so time will tell if computer number 4 does the trick or if there is something that is still shorting it out. More

In my search for the perfect vehicle, my son and I hit just about every dealership in our area, and believe me, I encountered my fair share of smarmy, annoying, and condescending salesmen along the way (not sure if that was their personas or if it was because I am female??). Anyway, I went to Ferman to look at a specific truck that was advertised online. As I pulled into a parking space, a salesman approached right away. I almost dreaded getting out of the car, but then I met the most awesome salesman ever, Michael Cantrell!! Michael is the complete opposite of smarmy!! He took me seriously, listened to what I wanted, treated me with respect, didn't try to steer me to a different vehicle, and didn't pressure me to buy. My adult son is a total gear-head and was my automotive fact checker during my car search; Michael answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about the truck's features. He understood that this was a major purchase for me, and he truly had the patience of a saint. Once I found the perfect truck, my husband and son, and I went to the dealership to close the deal, but we couldn't initially reach an agreement with the business manager. Even after we walked away, Michael stayed in touch and kept working to put the deal together, and within a day or two, he made it happen (and even got the side-steps and tonneau cover that I wanted)! Once the deal was made, the financing process was a breeze. Thanks to Michael and the sales team, I got everything that I wanted at a fair price, and I love my new Ram 1500! He even followed up with me after I purchased the vehicle to make sure I was happy with the truck. Michael is truly the epitome of great customer service, and he made buying this truck a pleasant experience! Although I dealt mostly with Michael, everyone I encountered at the dealership was very professional and helpful. It just seems as if the culture at this dealership is customer-centric, which is so refreshing for a car dealership. While relatively new to this dealership, his knowledge, his enthusiasm and his professionalism were, and are, outstanding. He has been able to teach us the ins and outs of all the computer systems and special features of our vehicle, and remains willing to help us to this day. My son was hesitant about going to another dealer but I persuaded him to try Ferman. We walked onto the red carpet as soon as we arrived. My credit isn't the best and my son had no credit but Ken Levicky and the guy in finance( I can't remember his name) worked diligently for us and my son left feeling like a million dollars. He took his time walking my wife and I through their inventory and went out of his way to explain the different features in the vehicles so we could narrow down our selection. After the test drive, our plan to explore other makes/models went by the way side. We knew we found the vehicle we wanted so no need to spend more time going from dealer to dealer. We worked through the basic with Pete and then were handed off to Scott Poth. After a short discussion with him, he went to work and not only found the financing we were hoping for. He found better! What a classy guy! He did not have to do what he did but in the end, he convinced us that Ferman is the kind of dealership that really cares about their customers. All in all, what a great afternoon that ended with a drive home in our new Chrerokee. More
