Great service Steve at the service department was very professional and recommended that I treat my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with some maintenance procedures that wo Steve at the service department was very professional and recommended that I treat my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with some maintenance procedures that would extend the life of my vehicle and that would make it run better and more efficiently. After a regular oil change and tire rotation, the technician performed a 27 point inspection and became aware that my rear brakes were getting low and in need of replacement before they start cutting into the rotors. The brakes were promptly replaced. Also, regular maintenance included power steering flush, brake fluid flush and an induction cleaning, all of these procedures will lengthen the life of my vehicle and make it perform as it should. Maintenance means to correct problems before the exist, and it works. I appreciate Steve's interest of maintaining all vehicles that pass his desk. Jamie helped me in the checkout procedure and explained the importance of regular maintenance as it pertains to all vehicles. We are a 3 Jeep family, all from Ferman, and now one vehicle, the Jeep Cherokee, will be passed on to our daughter up in NY, all maintained at Ferman. Always a pleasure to deal with the service department. More

Oil Change Appointment Scheduled my oil change over a week in advance for a Saturday at 11:30am. FYI -my oil changes are covered (along with a tire rotation which I was not having done). Arrived at Ferman at 11:25 (time noted). After waiting my turn, I was checked in. We were waiting, not dropping off. Walked around the lot for some time, sat in the waiting room. At 12:40, went outside, saw on the tv screen they had me checked in at 11:45 or 11:50 - as I walked towards the back lot, I see my Jeep out there. Maybe it's done and I didn't hear them call me, I say to myself. Now I know it was around lunchtime and everyone needs to eat, so during my time in the waitng room, employees are going back and forth with 'takeout' boxes to the service center. Waited for a free service employee, then asked about my Jeep. Someone from the garage was walking by so he yelled out to him about the Jeep - the guy said 20 minutes - not sure if that meant 20 more minutes or it would take 20 minutes - wasn't sticking around to find out - had been there an hour and a half at that point. Asked for my keys and left. I will not return to Ferman until my lease is up next year. Until then, I will either pay a trusted mechanic or visit another Jeep dealer. We are even in the market at this time for the purchase of another Jeep, but as I said, we will not return to Ferman of New Port Richey. More
