Oil change. Routine. Had to ask the representative how long. He didn’t offer that. One hour. have a seat in the waiting room. No other details. 75 minutes later still waiting. Alone. Asked the guy. Well...maybe 60-90 minutes. All the other people are gone I said. Well...they must have been ahead of you. In as many words...sit down and shut up. Called me after 90 minutes. For an oil change. Took a little more time he said. At my wonderful Subaru dealer, they tell you how long. You don’t have to ask. Tell you to take a seat and tell you about the free snacks and coffee. Ferman never mentioned what they had available. After a short time, the Subaru service guy comes and tells you how it is going and what the analysis indicated. And how much longer. Then when done you are called. Don’t ever recall waiting more than 45 minutes for an oil change at Subaru. Ferman took twice that time. Subaru gives you the price up front and asks if there are any coupons, discounts, etc. Ferman gave a price and said we would settle at the end. So, when I asked for the military discount, he told me I should have mentioned it at the offset. He was put out because he would have to rerun the paperwork. Boo hoo service guy. Not very customer sensitive Ferman. Subaru is, but not this guy at Ferman. And…Subaru gives a free car wash. They offer it up front. Hhhmmmm Ferman never said anything about that. More
