i called for an appointment at 3:15 p.m, brought the car to the dealer and let them check my engine oil for a leak and the car have some boiling noise sound, they said they gonna diagnose the car, we waited to the dealer and let them check my engine oil for a leak and the car have some boiling noise sound, they said they gonna diagnose the car, we waited for 2 days to get the answered, when i explain to them the problem they still said its no problem, they make me come back to the dealer and drove the car with the technician, they call me next day told me the oil engine was full that cause the problem, when i check my screen it said low oil, i did not put any oil when i bought it in, when i ask them to talk to the service director, Dan Sheehan he came out with attitude, he should not treat customer like that, im not happy at all. This is the second visit within the past month for two different problems. The first was to replace the A/C evaporator. Through Joe's hard work and effort the evaporator was replaced. Ferman and Joe provided me with a loaner vehicle while mine was being repaired. The second service was performed on 4/26/12 replacing the motor for the windshield washer motor. This work was done in a very fast and efficient manner while I looked at the 2012 models and given an overview by a member of the Olympic Team Member. If there was a higher rating than "Great", I would give it to Joe Cleaver and Ferman BMW. More
Brought my BMW in for service and had the bad luck of getting stuck with this idiot. Not only did he show no concern for the problems with the vehicle, he also handed me a set of keys to a loaner which w getting stuck with this idiot. First of all, Steve Phillips is the best salesman. He didn't rush me, yet I bought the first BMW he showed me. He was gracious and, frankly the person I would want to sell me new or pre-owned. Carl Alverez is a good svce mgr as well...taking care of a problem, letting me wait w/out notice, for a repair that could be fixed immediately. From the moment I met Steve, I knew I'd be buying an auto at Ferman. Keep up the good work! Your auto body shop personnel are great too!! AND the service appointments are made so quickly, without you having to wait a long period of time to get your car in for repair. My next car will be from Ferman. More
This dealer has by far the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I am on my third BMW, but it's the first purchased at Ferman. They are sort of OK when the car is under warranty. Even then, they only offer the bare minimum of service. It's a complete hassle trying to schedule a service appnt to begin with, whether the car is still under warranty or not. In the past three years, for more than 60% of the repairs I've had done to my 5 series had to be done more than once! They just can't seem to fix much on the first try. Very inconvenient to say the least. Who cares if the work is covered for two years...I do not (and should not) have to keep going back for the same damn thing! They take a ridiculous amount of time in returning phone calls or replying to emails. It's always the same song and dance. And truthfully, they don't seem to care. This is the first car I have ever purchased at a Ferman Dealer. And it will be the last. Never again would I go to Ferman for anything at all. And I know I am not alone in this...several people I have spoken to in the waiting area over the past few years have said the same thing. I guess they rely on new customers to stay in business, because I would bet their percentage of repeat customers is VERY low. BEWARE OF THIS DEALER> YOU ARE BETTER OF GOING ANYWHERE ELSE! More
Took vehicle in for annual oi change and sub-frame inspection. Nothing out of the ordinary other than their on-line information data entered does not transfer to the dealers system, therefore you need inspection. Worst customer service EVER!!! They kiss your ass while your car is under warranty. After it's out of warranty, they overcharge for everything. And rather than actually trying to fix problems, they just your car is under warranty. After it's out of warranty, they overcharge for everything. The parts are way overpriced (for example, they told me I needed a new radiator fan for my mini cooper that they were going to charge $900 for, not including labor costs. I found the same part online for $500 - they were going to overcharge me $400 for one part!!! Every time I go in there, I end up coming out with a $3,000 bill. It's like $3,000 is their magic number. I know many others who have had terrible service from other Ferman dealerships. I know two people in particular who were interested in buying BMW's, but the service was so bad, those two people are completely turned off. BMW just lost two customers willing to purchase brand new cars because they have such terrible customer service. I have also heard bad things about Ferman Nissan. AWFUL SERVICE. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT FIXING YOUR CAR. THEY JUST WANT TO REPLACE EVERYTHING AND CHARGE YOU 2-3 TIMES WHAT IT SHOULD COST. More
I do not write letters (actually emails these days) like this very often, however the experience I had recently with Ferman BMW warrants my comments. As you know I have had a very difficult time (and that is being very kind) getting the convertible top repaired and transmission problem properly diagnosed on my 645 at Bert Smith. Per you request I gave Ferman a chance to look at my car to see if they could find out what the problems were. From the moment I agreed to give Ferman a chance I was treated with professionalism, courtesy and efficiency that I have never experienced with any other BMW dealership. From scheduling, drop off and delivery of my vehicle everything was perfect. Dennis Daley and your entire staff should be commended on their efforts to provide me the best service I have ever received. Dennis communicated with me every day without me having to call him. He handled everything professionally and efficiently. The mechanic that test drove my car with me (I am sorry but I did not note his name) was able to properly and efficiently diagnose the issues and communicate them along with Dennis to BMW through the PUMA system and effectively represent me to get the required repairs approved. Your team has restored my faith in BMW and saved a long term BMW owner from switching to another auto manufacturer. I am extremely happy that they did. I love my car and did not want to get rid of it but I was so aggravated with my recent experience with Bert Smith that I was days away from buying an XLR. Ferman is quite a long drive (right by Bert Smith) from my home but I will gladly make that trip from now on to receive the quality service from Ferman that you and your staff provided me. Thank you for going the extra mile to follow up with me to ask for a chance to make things right with me even though my frustrations had nothing to do with you or Ferman. You have a great service staff backing you up at Ferman. Please tell Dennis and the rest of the staff thank you for me. I really appreciate all their efforts. More
I had a complete failure with my 328i and after keeping it for a week- they decided it was a bad battery cable.
