Failed to provide good crafssmanship Ferman MINI of Palm Harbor broke my thermostat and coolant system by not doing their due diligence and proper testing. Failed to do a full disclosure. Ferman MINI of Palm Harbor broke my thermostat and coolant system by not doing their due diligence and proper testing. Failed to do a full disclosure. Ferman MINI of Palm Harbor failed to provide full disclosure and due diligence when repairing my Mini Cooper 2011 clubman. I took the car for service on Monday, August 27th to repair/replace coolant system (coolant-pipe, gasket ring) they also recommended some maintenance to be done, which I agreed to it. I picked the car up on Monday, August 27th at 5:45pm approximately. I drove it home and parked on my driveway until next day. On Tuesday, August 28th, I drove the car to work and the car overheated and the engine light came on, so I had to pull over. On Wednesday, August 29th, I took the car back to Ferman MINI of Palm Harbor, I dropped there. They called back approximately 2 hours later saying that the thermostat broke and the pipe that connects to water pump as well. They said that because this is a highly PRESSURIZED system , when you put new part in the old ones sometime breaks, they wanted to charge approximately $1000 for the repair. I expressed my dissatisfaction with it, explaining that none of this was an issue before. The manager called back later to lecture me on how new parts breaks old part when you installed them on a HIGHLY PRESSURIZED system and how things do not last forever. I found this to be very disrespectful, treating me like a complete ignorant. They offered to fix for $646.11 dollars before tax instead. I found this acceptable, since this was entirely their fault not only for not doing a full disclosure with me but failing to do proper a due diligence on their part. I took the car to a reliable mechanic who troubleshoot the problem right in front of me, showing me not only what was wrong with my car. I got the repaired done. what I want is Ferman Mini Of Clearwater to reimburse me for all the repairs. This was an unacceptable very poor workmanship done by entire Ferman Mini of clearwater.
