Just not worth the grief. My car has 18k miles on it. I got a nail in my passenger rear tire and took the tire off to take a look. I noticed that the just inside edge had worn My car has 18k miles on it. I got a nail in my passenger rear tire and took the tire off to take a look. I noticed that the just inside edge had worn down to the steel belts. Just that one tire. They wouldn't cover the alignment under warranty, and would not prorate the 30k mile warranty on the tire. After posting this review, Karl called and we spoke. He expressed that he was upset that I had not given him a chance to address the issue before posting the review. He explained that Jamie had not communicated what I had requested regarding the prorating of the tires. He asked that I give him a chance to make it right, I agreed. He advised that he would have Jamie call me back with what he was able to work out. Jamie called back to advise that his offer to make it right was 50% off the the alignment and he would match the price advertised by Sam's Club. It was explained to me previously by another service adviser that they already price match any advertised price. I called 4 shops to get quotes for a four wheel alignment. All of the quotes were within $10 of the discounted one offered by Karl. So, really his offer was basically to price match the alignment and the tires. Which really wasn't an apples to apples match, the price at Sam's Club includes road hazard repair or replacement. Jamie also explained that the offer was contingent on me changing this review to 5 stars. I called Jamie back and declined the offer. It is my opinion that 5 star service would either be not having to deal with all this in the first place or, after being made aware, going above and beyond to make it right, price matching a competitor doesn't qualify. Save yourself the grief and take your BMW to Bert Smith, Reeves, or Fields. This is not the first time that Ferman BMW service has failed. I honestly cringe when I have to take my car there. I love my car and will buy my next BMW at one of the others in the area. Update: My car was supposed to have been "inspected", however when I drove away, 3 of the 4 tires had the incorrect pressure and the car was warning me. I didn't want to go back inside, so I went to the closest tire shop and had them fix the tire pressure. Another failure. More
