UPDATE: After going to the BBB, I heard from the dealer the next day. They finally agreed to provide me with two key fobs and a second key. Two trips to the Acura dealer later, everything has been satisf the next day. They finally agreed to provide me with two key fobs and a second key. Two trips to the Acura dealer later, everything has been satisfactorily resolved. ************************************* On Saturday, May 22, 2010, I purchased a 2006 Acura TL from Liberty Hyundai/Chevrolet (the salesperson, Jason Stum, was from Liberty Hyundai but the General Manager who approved the deal, Sam Anton, was from Liberty Chevrolet). When Mr. Stum was finally free to put my transferred license plate on the car he handed me a key. When I asked about the second key and the key fobs, which are needed for virtually all of the automatic power memory functions for the car and which are standard equipment, he proclaimed ignorance but said he would call the person responsible for the keys. Because it was 4:30, after closing at 4, the person was no longer there. Mr. Stum assured me he would get me the fobs and second key on Monday. Sadly, I have not yet received either fobs or key. On Monday I was told that when the car came from Liberty Hyundai's parent store, Marty Feldman Chevrolet, they only received one key. On Tuesday I went to the dealer to talk to Sam Anton, the GM. He was out. But Mr. Stum and his sales manager in the Hyundai store assured me I was entitled to at least one key fob. When I called on Wednesday Mr. Stum told me that there was good news, that the keys were at Marty Feldman but that their used-car manager had to get his hands on them. When I called on Thursday Mr. Stum told me that he had left messages with the Marty Feldman store but that his calls hadn't been returned. On Thursday I called Marty Feldman and left a message. On Friday morning I called Liberty Chevrolet and left a message with Mr. Anton, the GM, and spoke with Mr. Stum to tell him I had contacted Mr. Anton. It is now Friday evening and I have heard nothing and have nothing but a single key. Two keys and two fobs are standard equipment, but at no time was the car represented as missing this equipment; only after I had completed the deal was this revealed, and even then I was assured that this would be looked into. Cole, the guy I was working with walked me into the shop and showed me what was going on with my car, I would have never understood with out him educating me on my vehicle. Do not buy from this dealer. I was shopping for a used car and found one at a dealer out of state, but still within driving distance. I call a few local dealers to see if they would beat the price and Ma car and found one at a dealer out of state, but still within driving distance. I call a few local dealers to see if they would beat the price and Marty Feldman said they would. I was on my way to take a look at the car and the salesman called me to see if I was coming because he had someone at their sister dealer wanted to see the car. I informed him I was on my way. I get to the dealer and my salesman informs me that his sales manger would like to speak to me. The sale manager tells me that he shipped the car before my sales man could let him know I was coming, but they would give me a good deal for my troubles. So they have a comparable vehicle with a tad more miles and a little more expensive (don’t know how that works both vehicles had the same equipment) than the one I originally wanted to look at. Take the vehicle for a drive and get back to the dealer and make an offer to salesman. He goes and talks to his manager and I hear the manager yelling in his office. He comes out of his office and proceeds to make a scene in the showroom. He asks me what type of car I’m looking for, then tries to sell me a completely different type of vehicle. Then he says he has the perfect vehicle at the price I want. I see my sales man pull up a Yellow New Beetle, keep in mind I informed them I was looking for a midsized sedan. I tell my sales man that I am not going to even waste my time and thanked him for his time and proceed to walk out. The sale manager stops me and says he is going to talk to the owner and see if he can get the price approved. The owner won’t budge, but I was informed that they will get one in my price range at auction the next day. I get a call from my salesman the next day they have a vehicle comparable to the one I drove with 37,000 miles and silver exterior. I go to the dealer the next day to take a look; the vehicle that the salesman pulls up is dark gray with more miles and a different trim with less equipment. I take it for a drive and when I get back I am informed that they want more for the one I drove with less equipment and more miles than we originally agreed to. What a waste of my time. More

I unfortunately discovered 2K miles over warranty that replacing the headlight bulb to a 2007 GMC Acadia pretty much requires you to visit a dealership, which is complete crap as it's a way for GM to funn replacing the headlight bulb to a 2007 GMC Acadia pretty much requires you to visit a dealership, which is complete crap as it's a way for GM to funnel service revenue to their dealers. What should cost $15 in parts and 5 minutes of time is instead $100 in labor costs from a dealer and 2 hours in the waiting room. Anyways, the reason for my issues with this dealership is the way they handled the situation. First, I contacted the dealer I acquired the vehicle from (a friend of mine owns a dealership over 200 miles from my house so couldn't use them for this simple replacement) who specifically told me it should take .6 hours of the "Labor Time Guidelines" to replace the headlamp and its done by going through the wheel well of the vehicle. So, if they charge $100 per hour for labor, replacing the headlight bulb would be $60 (excluding parts). My wife contacted Tom (I think thats his name in the service area) who said he couldn't quote the work over the phone as his technician must see the vehicle first. Are you kidding me? He also said they will take off the bumper to get to the headlight. When my wife informed him we did our own research and found you go through the wheel well, he back peddled a little but still refused quote the cost of replacing the headlight bulb. Given the proximity of their dealership to our house, we still decided to use them. The end result was paying too much for the service. We'll never use these guys again. More
I went in for my first car. I had a budget of 6,000 out the door. Most dealerships had nothing to offer. However, this one had a nice Oldsmobile Alero. However, it had some rust and some problems. They pro the door. Most dealerships had nothing to offer. However, this one had a nice Oldsmobile Alero. However, it had some rust and some problems. They promised to fix the rust and I quote "best car painter." They said it would look really good. However, they only got rid of some of the rust and it did not meet my expectations. I let this go as I realized it was a used car. Next, I noticed a crack in the windshield. They would not replace it. As my mom tried to talk to them, the sales manager was rude to her. He was like "do you want to buy a new car". My Mom was explaining how it was my first new car that I was paying for. He said "it is a used car you get what you get." This made me and my mom extremely angry. However, we test drove it for the second time as that is most important. When I took it out for my second test drive (this being the third test drive and the day I was suppose to buy the car), the turn signals stopped working in the middle. This happened during my second test drive. They promised it would be fixed. Eric told me that he drove it personally and it worked fine. That is what really made us say no. A new barely experienced sixteen year old driver with no turn signals on Grand River how lovely? Cosmetic issues they did bad but with no turn signals is just not good. Not only couldn't they fix the problems, they lied to my face, and they did nothing to make it better. The only positive outcome from this is my mom was able to get her check back from the non obligation deposit. As we left one of the managers talked to Eric (my salesmen) asking if he should call the other people for that Oldsmobile Alero. They already had it sold after I turned it down how satisfying? I feel bad for the people buying it. Why would a dealership sell a piece of junk where the turn signals don't work. We really brought them down in price to $6,000 out the door where it was originally selling for $1,000 more. I strongly suspect they knew the signals were not working so they could get more money from other buyers. Long story short, they are liars who have terrible service. More
Absolutely the worst dealership I've ever been to for service. I took my car in for some cosmetic issues in the steel. After 4 months of promises for a call back I finally got in touch with an engineer service. I took my car in for some cosmetic issues in the steel. After 4 months of promises for a call back I finally got in touch with an engineer at the Milford Proving Grounds. They contacted the dealership and it turned out they "never had a record of the complaint". Now it is 6 months after that experience and I decided to give them another chance for some bad rotors on my 34k mile car. They told me it wasn't covered under warranty. I called another dealer and they told me it was as long as the brake pads were less than 20% worn. I called Marty Feldman back and they told me the other dealer was probably lying. Not sure why someone would offer the warranty when it wasn't applicable. Marty Feldman is absolutely without doubt the worst dealership I've ever been to for service. Unfortunately for them I won't step foot in the sales room now either. More
