Do not trust anything they say at this dealership If I could I would give this dealership a negative rating. I bought a vehicle from them in early December and was assured everything was perfect. I expressed concerns regarding the tires, alignment, etc. and was told everything was perfect. Within 2 months it was in need of an oil change (mind you this takes the more expensive synthetic oil that is supposed to last longer) while in for a simple oil change I was informed that there was an oil leak that should have been discovered when they were performing the oil change they supposedly did prior to driving it off the lot. While that repair was being done by the service department that discovered the leak as I didn't want to risk driving it until that was repaired, they discovered several other issues. I contacted Feldman regarding this and was told to bring the car back to them so they could "make it right". I did as they requested and guess what, they did absolutely nothing. Claimed there were no other issues that everything was acceptable other than they did me the favor of a front end alignment, even though that was supposed to have been done prior to my driving it off the lot the first time (I was told this was done). My advice to anyone considering this dealership is to run in the opposite direction. They have absolutely no clue what the term customer service truly means. I would never pull in their lot again if it weren't for the fact that I'm tied there by the extended warranty they talked me into. If I take it anywhere other than Feldman it will cost me more money than it already has, but as soon as I am able to unload this lemon I will be going elsewhere with my hard-earned dollars. More
Purchase of new vehicle I began a search for a new vehicle about 10 days ago. I entered into on-line discussions with Feldman of Lansing. I indicated the vehicle that I was I began a search for a new vehicle about 10 days ago. I entered into on-line discussions with Feldman of Lansing. I indicated the vehicle that I was interested in from their inventory. During the conversations what discounts that I qualified for was clarified. I requested the bottom-line (their best) price on that particular vehicle. I was informed that I had to come into the dealership to speak with the manager. Of course, when I arrived he was too busy to speak with me even though I was told that he would be available to see me at the time I informed them that I would be there. Then, while waiting for the manager, I was provided with a cost estimate that was significantly higher than the "price on their inventory web page. Why, because I was told that I did not qualify for a certain "incentive" - which of course , was clarified long before I came into the dealership. A waste of my time and a reluctance on their part to provide me their/my best price before I arrived at the dealership. And all the time spent in email conversations was for naught -- the person I met with because the manager was too busy knew nothing of these conversations and the facts that had been established. Unfortunate since I was prepared to purchase the vehicle that day. They could have provided me that price without requiring that I come into the dealership. A negative learning opportunity. More

Edit: I contacted the sales manager and he told me that he would help resolve my issues but when the time came it turned out to be all talk and no action. Made arrangements to have my vehicle picked up and no one showed up or bothered calling and telling me they wouldn't be showing up. More
Wasted 2 hours of my time, TWICE! Their salesmanship is where they lose my business! I went to Feldman twice, and both times they wasted over 2 hours of my time! Both times I did not want to test drive a vehicle (waste of 30 minutes); and both times, the sales rep talked me into test driving a vehicle I did not even come in for. I saw two different sales specialists (6 months apart). The way Feldman (as a company) requires their sales reps to "check the box", is not in the customer's best interest. Both times I was quoted $100 OVER my budget. The second time I came back to Feldman, because I was called by marketing as a follow-up for "new deals" on the Chevy Colorado, I was interested in leasing previously. I also came in to get an estimate for a trade-in. I was told, the estimate would only take 20 minutes. Again, after 2 hours with the sales rep... I never received a value for my trade-in (they never even test drive my vehicle), and the lease price for the Colorado was higher than the last time I came in! No "sales" that I could see. After telling the sales rep, I was not interested in signing a lease that day (out of my budget); he tried to talk me into buying a used vehicle! The sales rep was also required to bring out the finance manger, because I had refuse to allow them to run my credit! The finance manager was very patronizing and gave off that "sleezy" used-car salesman vibe. Because I look like a young, "college kid"; he tried to xxxxxxxx me about "what they can offer me". I am a 31 year-old woman, who came in by herself. The first sales rep lost my business; because he had spent the majority of our time "chatting" with my boyfriend, rather than focusing on ME, the buyer, and my financial needs/requirements. Both sales reps were every friendly, very professional, nice young men (early 20's); but the way "Feldman" requires their sales reps to "check all the boxes", wastes everyone's time. I knew what I was looking for when I walled in; and had they not xxxxxxxx me around, I could've been in and out within 30 minutes. On a sidenote: I had warned the marketing rep (who had called me to schedule the appointment the second time I was in) to make sure to tell the sales manager, not to try to 'over quote' me. She scheduled my appointment with the general manager "Joseph", but he pawned me off on a sales rep anyway. Obviously, the manager doesn't pay attending to detail from his staff either. Both times I was dissatisfied with the way I was treated (over quoting and patronizing); and for a second time, this company will not get any future business. More
