Beware of what you are told over the phone when dealing with Feldman of Lansing. I was contacted by Tori at Feldman in Lansing and told that I could if I wanted to buy out my lease I had $3000.00 in equity with Feldman of Lansing. I was contacted by Tori at Feldman in Lansing and told that I could if I wanted to buy out my lease I had $3000.00 in equity towards a new or used vehicle. When I called on 2/22/22 I asked Tori specifically if I could use that equity towards the vehicle I was leasing. She said that would be possible. I asked again because I wanted to make sure that she understood and she said yes, then she handed me off to Nick, whom she said was her manager and would call me back. I got a call from Nick and set up an appointment to take care of this, I also text a few documents that he requested. I also secured financing through my credit union for the purchase. When I met with Nick this morning, 2/23/22, I was told that I could not use the equity in my lease towards the purchase of the vehicle. I told Nick that I didn't understand because I ask Tori a couple of times and she said that I could do this. He got another manager and that person, who's name I have forgotten, told me that what Tori told me was incorrect. Since I had secured the loan on the vehicle based off of what I was told I had no choice but to walk out. I have a 11 months left on my lease, this will give me time to find another dealership to work with that will be honest with me. This would have been the 6th vehicle that we would have purchased at Feldman's, which I pointed out to them, but that didn't seem to matter in the least to them. I had been treated very well in the past by different managers there, but today I felt like I was no longer welcome and they no longer want my business. More

I find that I can most always request a service then be scheduled within a short amount of time, which allows me to clear my schedule as needed.
