My husband has had a Mazda CX-9 leased from Faulkner (Preston)for about 4 years and we have been very happy with it. Now that it was my turn to buy a new car, we went to Faulkner first. My husband does (Preston)for about 4 years and we have been very happy with it. Now that it was my turn to buy a new car, we went to Faulkner first. My husband does his research and we chose the 2013 CX-5. Preston was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and did not pressure us (as I had experienced in the past at other places). We received a terrific financial package - both on my trade-in Honda Accord and on the CX-5. We had to wait until the new zeal red CX-5 that was on order arrived at the lot but the process to actually get it was painless. Both Preston and the rest of the staff were wonderful to work with and I will be telling anyone who asks about my new SUV where I got it and how easy the process was. I love my new car! More

Great dealership and just as long as you communicate what you are pleased with and what you're not you will be good with these guys. The bad is that it was real hard to get them to be competitive with their you are pleased with and what you're not you will be good with these guys. The bad is that it was real hard to get them to be competitive with their pricing. I compared them with NADA and KBB and they were a bit off the mark. On the brighter side, when I left the dealership I found a problem with leaking valve covers that were defintly leaking pre-sale and they split the cost with me and even balanced my tires for nothing. I guess they made enough on the high cost that I purchased the car for. Oh, and watch out for there maintenance plan salesman, he can be very pushy. All in all a good experience and I don't feel like I got ripped off, but could have if I didn't express my concerns. More

I was looking for a new car for one reason: MPG. I can't stand the thought of $4.00 gas or $5.00 gas while driving a 2010 Ford Lariat Super Duty Diesel. While it is a very nice truck to drive, it gets me li stand the thought of $4.00 gas or $5.00 gas while driving a 2010 Ford Lariat Super Duty Diesel. While it is a very nice truck to drive, it gets me literally 12-13 MPG. At $4.19 per gallon, do the math... I decided to do some homework and narrowed my decision down to one of 3 models. The Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, and a Mazda 3. All 3 reviewed very well. I owned a 2011 Civic LX-S and liked it very much, but traded it in after it was in a rear end collision. The Elantra MPG numbers are suspect based on tons of reviews, and the new 2012 Honda Civics are a bit soft, so I decided I would try the Mazda for the first time. I email blasted just about every single Mazda dealership from Hamilton, NJ to West Chester, Pa for their best price on a Mazda 3 Hatchback with the SkyActiv engine/tranmission system. It is rated at 39 MPG highway, and it is very affordable. I received several responses from different dealerships and encouraged by the quotes that I received. When I heard from Faulkner, I was a bit disappointed at first because they told me they could not match the prices that I was receiving from other dealers. While I was a bit bummed, one thing really stuck out to me...it was the way the email was written. It was extremely professional and gracious. The politeness of the rep really came through the email. Even though they were not the cheapest, I decided I wanted to stop in to check them out. I only wanted to shake hands with the professional that was corresponding with me and thank him for his time, even though their price was going to be higher. I didn't expect anything more at that point. Now, I do have a LONG purchase history from Faulkner GMC that spans nearly 20 years and amounts to 25-30 vehicles (I am the owner of a service company and we buy a lot of cargo vans). That said, I did not want to pay more than I had to for my new car. When I arrived, I was greeted by Mike Rocchi. I told him who I was and told him that I just wanted to say hi and shake his hand for the way he conducted himself. After talking with him for a moment, it became clear to me that these were the people who I wanted to purchase from. So, we talked a bit more and I met with Larry Dixon, one of the managers. Again, I just wanted to say hi. After a few moments, Larry came back with an offer that I accepted. They both conducted themselves with extreme professionalism. There is a lesson to be learned here: There are many things to consider when choosing a dealership to buy from. God knows there are plenty of the screaming, balloon popping, fast talking type of dealerships out there that advertise new cars for $99 per month, and so on. If you believe that type of pitch, then you are the victim that they are targeting. I am a realist and know that some things are just not possible. At those type of places, you leave their showroom feeling like a fool with a monthly payment not $99 per month, but rather $429 per month because the fast talking salesman SOLD YOU. Do yourself a favor...if you want to be treated with respect and leave a dealership with a new car, and your dignity still in tact, you owe it to yourself to at least pop your head in and see Mike at Faulkner. Even if you can't agree on price and terms, you WILL agree that you left still feeling like a human being who was treated right. I did purchase a 2012 Mazda 3 Hatchback with SkyActiv and my 22 mile trip to work this morning netted me 41.4 MPG. I figured it cost me about $1.96 in fuel. Conversely, that same trip would have cost me $7.09 in my diesel truck. Zoom-Zoom! More
