Just purchased a new vehicle from Keenan Honda and I give them a big FAIR. The salesman that we had (Josh) was a very nice guy and answered all of our questions and explained all of the options about the them a big FAIR. Typical sales experience where you sit and wait and wait and wait some more while the salesman has to talk to sales manager to get the best price. Outdated sales techniques makes for a long and frustrating day. Hoping to spend an hour and make a deal, ended up being there for over two hours. The night we were scheduled to sign the papers and take delivery, waited and waited some more. Signing papers only took 10-minutes but had to wait an hour and a half to do so. We were scheduled to go in at 6:30 and arrived at 6:29. Finally took delivery at 8:00. That was a worse experience than making the deal for the car b/c the price had all ready been agreed to, the car was parked outside and ready to go and all we had to do was sign papers but we sat and sat some more watching and smelling everyone cooking their dinners in the microwave with the only reason given to us that they were running behind and it was the end of the month; are you kidding me? Had it not been for my wife, I would have left and looked elsewhere (JL Freed Honda or Piazza Honda come to mind). Showroom is clean and all of the information is accessable but I would have to assume that every car dealership is the same way; who would have a dirty showroom? Not impressed with my buying experience and would probably not purchase from again and would look elsewhere for my next Honda. Would possibly stop in the next time and see if things change, but would be very doubtful. More

I was buying a new Ridgeline at Keenan even though I live in Maine. I have a relative who had very good experience with Keenan through several car purchases, and I was willing to give them a try. When I visited Keenan, they were professional, courteous, and willing to jump through hoops to locate the right truck once I decided on the Ridgeline. My husband and I decided to "start" the shopping process for a second car for our family. However, Eric's salesmanship was never pressuring us. He answered all of our questions and showed us options that we hadn't considered. Eric made buying a car an enjoyable experience. We got a great deal on our Honda civic, and Eric made us feel comfortable that we were buying a safe car for our daughter to drive. Everyone at the dealership was very pleasant. Our car was ready within a few hours and we were able to come back and pick it up in the evening and drive it home! More

We purchased a new Honda CRV EXL with navigation system. Fred was very helpful in finding the right car for us on the lot. He also helped us get the price we wanted and were comfortable paying. We debated for more than a year whether it was time to purchase a new car and we were finally ready to move forward. After much research, we knew we were either going to stay loyal Volvo customers with t purchase a new car and we were finally ready to move forward. We had done our homework and knew exactly what we wanted in both cars, but hadn't researched the dealerships. We found ourselves at the dealers that were the closest distance to our home. Our experience with the Volvo dealer was unpleasant, at best, and caused us to run to Honda. Our stop at our local Honda dealer was favorable, in that they could get us the car we wanted, at a reasonable price, however, we didn't feel comfortable and were reluctant to make the purchase. We left the dealership letting them know that we were going to think about our purchase over the weekend. After leaving the dealer, we went home and researched best Honda dealers in our area. That is when we can upon the DealerRater website which pointed us to Keenan Honda, which subsequently resulted in the purchase of our 2011 Honda CRV. DealerRater was right, everything about our experience at Keenan was positive. We have been doing nothing but raving about Keenan, and recommending them to our friends, since we purchased our car last week. We'll start off by saying the dealership is in a convenient location, they have a large inventory of vehicles, and the showroom is clean an inviting. Our sales person, Melissa Yates, gained our trust almost immediately by treating us with respect, listening to our needs and providing us with the knowledge to make an educated decision about our purchase. We didn't have any reluctance about purchasing from Keenan. Our positive experience continued through our dealings with the finance and sales managers. I'd also like to point out that the folks at Keenan went the extra mile to get us the most value for our trade in. Don't just go to Keenan if you are looking to buy a Honda. As soon as we came, we were personally greeted by Mark Lenny who introduced us to Andrew Sassane who was helping us with all questions we had and giving us all explanations we were looking for. Through whole buying process Mark was checking if we need anything else, which was absolutely amazing to feel very important. All finanicing papers were prepared before we walked in. Whole process took no longer than 15-20 minutes, which is unbelievably fast comparing with other dealerships (I heard many stories from my friends). Andrew is great saleperson who never pressured us in anyway. He offered us many options and features for our New Honda Accord, but obviously it was our choice to take it or not.
