We don't make big decisions (e.g. buying a new car) easily and our process would wear some folks out, but Jerry was professional, patient, and understanding throughout our many visits and questions, as easily and our process would wear some folks out, but Jerry was professional, patient, and understanding throughout our many visits and questions, as was the Manager, Mark. They allowed us our process, did not'hard-sell', joked with us, and gave us all the time and space we needed to move forward and feel comfortable. We bought a sage green CR-V with tan interior--an elegant choice! We're thrilled with the car and appreciative of the support we received from Jerry throughout--he was professional, knowledgeable, and fun--a treat to work with! More
Keenan Honda is the reason we have stayed with Honda cars for almost 20 years. Consistent, friendly and reliable service is their motto. Last week, Mark Lenny and Andrew Sassane, and other Keenan staff membe for almost 20 years. Consistent, friendly and reliable service is their motto. Last week, Mark Lenny and Andrew Sassane, and other Keenan staff members went the extra few hundred miles (literally and figuratively) to find the car in the color I wanted. Their effort, persistence, and professionalism personify the reasons why I return to Keenan Honda whenver I need a new car. They also make financial deals that you cannot refuse. Highly recommend this dealership. -- A. Pryce More
I managed to receive 2 of the 3 promised free oil changes before being told they were not free and I had been lied too by the salesman. Took the Pilot in for state inspection and oil change in May 09 and a before being told they were not free and I had been lied too by the salesman. Took the Pilot in for state inspection and oil change in May 09 and again in Sept. for the 15,000 service only to be stopped and fined for a expired inspection sticker in August. Every complaint has been answered with the reply that the person responsible is no longer in their employ because they were incompetent and were fired. This included the lying salesman, the service manager, and the mechanic who worked on the car. I switched to Scott Honda for service and they are amazingly competent and professional. I receive discount coupons in the mail for service and emails alerting me to same! Scott also charges less for service!!! Keenan offers free tires for life if you get your vehicle serviced there but if you read the fine print you realize you will never get them! I have purchased 2 additional Hondas for my daughters and they were not from Keenan!! More
In 2006 they replaced a transmission under warranty in my 2000 Honda Accord EX. While replacing the transmission they dented and punctured my oil filter. I proceeded to take the car on a long trip. Occasi 2000 Honda Accord EX. While replacing the transmission they dented and punctured my oil filter. I proceeded to take the car on a long trip. Occasionally I smelled oil but thought nothing of it since I had just had the car serviced. By the time I discovered the problem the car was dangerously low on oil. Low oil warning light has never illuminated as long as I have owned the car (did they damage that too?). That year the head gasket went with the 1st cold day in the Fall. In 2010 I had ring(s) failure and the car started burning oil. Maintenance Mgr and General Mgr deny that their maintenance departments Gross Negligence have any bearing on later failures. My question to anybody considering driving Honda products is: are these all isolated events and HOA just builds unreliable junk or are the events related and this particular Honda dealership only cares about profit at the expense of their customers. If I was a betting man I would put my money on the latter. This dealership is unethical and will not stand behind any work they do on your car. If they damage your prized possession, the burden of proof is placed squarely on you to prove the dealership was negligent. They care only about their profitability. I know that this is all self evident to anybody with any business savvy but maybe if enough people describe how they were treated we can impact them where it counts, there wallets. BTW I should have given them 5 *'s for friendliness as the one thing they do excel at is kissing your behind... However, I gave them 1 * because I saw right through the feigned kindness. More

I got a price from Matt that was "too good to be true" so my we drove 1 hr to put down $ so they could find a car. Other dealers closer to us told us that it a great price that they could not match so we we my we drove 1 hr to put down $ so they could find a car. Other dealers closer to us told us that it a great price that they could not match so we were skeptical. Lo and behold they could not "find" a car in time for the price and incentives to be good. Told us the car that they were going to get for us had damage (Lie) on it but later in the month they could get us one but it would be at a higher cost. I got on the phone and called other dealers looking for the exact car that I wanted and found it closer to home. I got a fair deal on it. I would never tell anyone to go to KEENAN Honda. They are enethical and liars. Beware. More
I bought my car about three years ago. It was a certified pre-owned vehicle, covered by the 100k mile warranty. Within the first week, the automatic starter broke. I brought the car back and was certified pre-owned vehicle, covered by the 100k mile warranty. Within the first week, the automatic starter broke. I brought the car back and was told that they have to remove the auto-starter because it would void the warranty. Andrew (the salesman), had used the auto-starter as a point of sale, so this was surprising. However, I'm thinking about the big picture, and I didn't want my warranty voided, so I allowed them to remove the auto-starter. I've since been told that that was a bad move on my part. Keenan sold the car to me with the starter, and the warranty. It was their mistake, so the starter should have been covered. Within about two or three months, my brakes went. When I brought the car in, I was surprised to learn that this is how Keenan handles used vehicles. They allow used brake pads to be sold on their certified pre-owned vehicles. I had to pay about $200 to fix the problem. A few months later, I received a check in the mail because I had been "over-charged" for something. They sent me the amount that I had paid to fix the brakes. A couple of months later, my stereo began cutting in and out. It got to a point where if the a/c was running, or the rear defroster was on, the stereo wouldn't work. I brought the car in to Keenan, and they assured me that nothing was wrong with my stereo. With hesitation, I left and gave my stereo a try again. This time, I played with the different knobs to see if I could get it to repeat the problem. This is when I discovered what was causing the problem. I brought the car back to Keenan, and explained to them what they should have found when they inspected my car. My CD player still does not work, but Keenan denies that fact every time I bring the car in. If I play ANY disc, it cuts out to a disc error after a couple of minutes of playtime. I've brought this to their attention many times, but every time, Keenan assures me that my CD player does work. Thankfully, I have a port for my Ipod. About a year later (after I'd moved out of the Doylestown area), I got into a fender bender. While my car was being inspected by the auto-body mechanic, I learned that evidence showed that this car had been in an accident before. It also showed that the previous owner had made many modifications to the vehicle, and that those modifications were done incorrectly. The wiring of the lights was done incorrectly, the hood had been removed and the stereo system had not been wired properly. When I bought the car, I asked Andrew why the car was being sold, he said that it was an expired lease. Until then, I was under the impression that the modification of a leased vehicle was not allowed. Another problem that was brought to my attention when the mechanic was inspecting the car, was that the paint had prematurely aged. The car is a 2006 model, yet the paint is already cracking all over, and beginning to chip and rust in spots. I brought the car to the nearest Honda dealer, where I was told that they would be happy to pay for half of the cost of a new paint-job on the hood, but the rest of the car would be my responsibility. The car was sold to me with defective paint, that is abundantly clear. Why exactly would I pay for half of the cost to fix only a fraction of a defect that should have never been a problem in the first place? Through all of this, I've received several letters from Keenan, and Andrew specifically, thanking me for using them and encouraging me to come back. I've made several attempts to get them to stop contacting me. I even went to their website and sent them an email explaining the ordeal, and asking them to please stop contacting me. I requested to be removed from whatever mailing list I'm on. Not only did they not acknowledge my complaint, but, this morning, I received yet another email encouraging my business. That is when I decided to search for complaints online, to add mine to it! Since these problems began to arise, I have learned that this is common practice at Keenan. I have always loved Hondas. It's truly disappointing that the "used car-dealer" mentality is employed by people who represent such a titan of the car industry. Thanks to Keenan, I may have to rethink my future plans to buy another Honda. If I do, it certainly won't be through Keenan Honda. More
Why bother with them? There are 3 Honda Dealers within 20 miles and well worth the extra drive. Price is over inflated for Doylestown, and the service is par at best. In the end it got fixed, but it took s miles and well worth the extra drive. Price is over inflated for Doylestown, and the service is par at best. In the end it got fixed, but it took several return visits. Just not worth the whole experience for a car. Honda's are great cars and the dealer should reflect that high level. More
I had a great experience at Keenan. The internet sales manager Matt was very honest and pressure free. He gave us a great price on the car and great service. We had forgot some important documents with us manager Matt was very honest and pressure free. He gave us a great price on the car and great service. We had forgot some important documents with us, but they let us drive home the car (2008 Certified Civic) that night. He worked to meet our needs and appreciated our time crunch (we had a hungry kid at home). More
