Love my new Honda HRV After being referred by the Costco auto buying program - I went to see Patrick Regan @ Keenan Honda in Doylestown. He explained the Costco program to me and we went for test drive of a 2018 HR-V. I loved the car - but told him I had several other cars I wanted to drive before deciding. He did not try to pressure me into making a purchase - like some places where they don't want you to walk out the door and tell you the price is only good while you are there etc. I was originally planning to buy the front wheel option instead of the all wheel drive - they didn't have any in stock but were willing to get 1 from another dealer - no pressure to up sell the higher priced model. I did eventually decide to purchase the all wheel drive - my choice and after talking to my fiancé . . . and a little negotiating on the price of my trade in to get it to a final cost I was happy with. The closing went smooth - they did offer an extended warrantee that I declined - that seemed pricey. Pat spent a lot of time going over all the features of the new car - my trade was 10 years old so there were MANY new things to explain ! He also said I could call or come in any time if I had any questions and called me several days later to check in on how I like the car and if I had any questions or problems. Overall about as pleasant an experience as I would be possible - I HATE the process in general. I am not really sure if there was any savings using Costco plan as I did not try to purchase another way to compare final pricing - but I feel I got a fair price on the purchase and my trade in. More
