Great car buying experience! I purchased a car today (2015 Subaru Forester Premium) from Farrish Subaru. My car buying experience was excellent....My salesman was Joe Everett.... I purchased a car today (2015 Subaru Forester Premium) from Farrish Subaru. My car buying experience was excellent....My salesman was Joe Everett....very low key and I never felt pressured. I didn't really think I'd actually leave the dealership with a new car today, but I did and this is largely because I didn't feel any pressure from the salesman. He was honest in telling me that he'd like to sell me a car that day (so what else is new!), but I didn't get the hard sell that if I left, I'd be losing a great deal that I'd never see again. I also didn't get any pressure to purchase all the extra packages/extended warranties. Of course they have to do their job and tried to sell me all the extras, but were very respectful when I quickly declined. More

Love our new Outback! We came in knowing what we wanted and had already arranged for purchase information on a Subaru Outback through the Costco Auto Buying program (which We came in knowing what we wanted and had already arranged for purchase information on a Subaru Outback through the Costco Auto Buying program (which is an amazing, no hassle program by the way). I was able to easily make an appointment with Jackie Coogan, Farrish's Costco auto program representative, and he was extremely thorough in walking us through the details on the 2015 Outback, including taking us on a lengthy test drive and showing us all of the available colors/options that the Outback has to offer. I highly recommend Farrish and Jackie, and would happily purchase from them in the future. More

We ordered them about a week apart, which creates some confusion since the cars were similar, but not identical. The staff at Farrish worked with us to quickly get everything straight with Subaru America. Delivery took about 8 weeks, and our salesman, Jackie Coogan, stayed in touch and notified us of changes in the estimated delivery. The cars arrived within a week of each other. We were immediately notified and the cars were prepped for delivery each time. My wife was timid about the new car, even though many of the features/controls were the same as her 10-year old Legacy. Mr .Coogan worked patiently with her and insured she was comfortable with her new car. We both love our new Subarus. More

I wanted to buy a car that evening and didn't want to deal with the typical car buying BS. I have always bought used so have always been happy with the no haggle process at Carmax. I tried Stohlman Subaru of Herndon first and was not happy there. Felt very jerked around, was made to wait while several times while they helped other people, and was given a lower price each time I was serious about leaving. Definitely the stereotypical car buying experience I was trying to avoid. Not the case at Farrish. My salesman at Farrish (Wolf Asser) was super nice, straight forward, and personable. [Extra points for having the best name ever.] While already on my way to Farrish, I learned my friend bought a car from him earlier in the week and was happy with the deal, so I asked for him by name. My friend also commented their sales manager Sam was great to work with, but I didn't meet him personally. Wolf was patient, showed me various cars, spoke to me at length and in detail answering all of my questions, and I ended up with a deal I am very happy about. He has been with Subaru over 20 years and knows his stuff. Always a good sign that your salesman drives the kind of car you are in the market for too! I ended up buying a 2015 Subaru Forester (Premium). I would highly recommend Farrish to anyone in the market. Wolf was great, and the finance manager (Matt Thompson) was awesome too. Very accommodating, honest, and pleasant to deal with. They were both there with us long after closing and not once did they seem impatient or annoyed. Great experience. More
Suprisingly good experience with car dealership... Subaru Problem: Five days earlier my vintage, newly bought, low mileage 2003 Acura 3.2 S was totaled in a rear-end, hit-and-run. Back in the market for a car Problem: Five days earlier my vintage, newly bought, low mileage 2003 Acura 3.2 S was totaled in a rear-end, hit-and-run. Back in the market for a car, this time safety was the most important feature for me, although my former car had done a wonderful job of protecting its passengers. Solution: Finding Subaru to be the leader in moderate price cars, I found my way to Farrish Subaru. Immediately the friendly Rey Beltrane, salesman, approached me to help. He was forthright, answered my obsessive questions and provided additional information as well. He seemed to know his cars and which might be a good fit for me. We considered some of the used vehicles in stock, but then decided to look at the new models. In the cold night he brought a beautiful higher-end Forester model into the service shop, now cleared of the serviced autos. The car seemed more solid than other SUV types in that price range, and well appointed. And the price actually seemed better than many of the used Foresters, with equal equipment and miles, than I had seen online. We took a drive, testing various rod types, both of us taking turns driving. Wanting family to chime in on this decision, I asked if we could go by my daughter and her husband's home very nearby so they could have a look. He was gracious and willingly did just that, leaving a very positive impression with them. Then we returned to the dealership where we spoke for twenty minutes or so, but I was not quite ready to buy, not because the product wasn't impressive, I just needed more time. I kept waiting for another salesperson to slyly come up to take over the sale. I believe it's called "turning." This never happened. Rey just continued to be his pleasant real self which was such a comforting feeling during this unexpected, trying, time I was having to face. This was probably the best car buying experience in which I have ever been involved. The trust level was high, and I think that feeling was warranted. More

He made purchasing our vehicle an easy and pleasant experience. We also talked with Sam Ramadan. They both went over and above to provide us with the information we needed and made our buying experience a good one. We would highly recommend Rey and Farrish Subaru to all of our family and friends. It was worth the drive to purchase our Subaru from this dealership! More
