Service department representative was friendly and helpful. Dealership charged me full list price of $289 for a part that I could have bought online for $246. Only $50 labor, on the other hand, whi helpful. Dealership charged me full list price of $289 for a part that I could have bought online for $246. Only $50 labor, on the other hand, which I perceive as good. Zero stars to Subaru for making you replace an entire tail light assembly when all you have is a crack in one of the plastic lenses. Also for making it apparently impossible for a non-expert owner to do to work themselves. With my previous cars, this kind of thing was a trivial do-it-yourself fix with a part that cost maybe 15% as much. More
We have previously given this dealership a 5 star rating but wanted to write an addition. My wife and I did the in-car class with Farrish - we spent 1.5 hours with the instructor and picked up a huge number but wanted to write an addition. My wife and I did the in-car class with Farrish - we spent 1.5 hours with the instructor and picked up a huge number of tips and tricks. A class like that for 2 people would normally cost several hundred dollars - but the Subaru class was free and they even sent us a $25 Sunoco gas card. More
Farrish does the work you ask them to without any pressure to do other things they might note- and they don’t tend to recommend anything ridiculous. Previously, I’d taken my car to them for brake pad pressure to do other things they might note- and they don’t tend to recommend anything ridiculous. Previously, I’d taken my car to them for brake pad replacement that another dealership said I needed. Farrish got started and then came out to me with pictures showing me that they weren’t even close to needing replacement. They could have just done it and I’d never have known. That gave me a lot of trust for Farrish. More
We drove over 370 miles to work with this dealership and to successfully find a new car we absolutely love. Completely worthwhile journey. Great staff and dealership. The process for identifying the work to be done and getting complete customer input is well structured and the staff are very polite. They keep you well informed about potential costs and the time to a getting complete customer input is well structured and the staff are very polite. They keep you well informed about potential costs and the time to accomplish the work. The waiting room is spacious and well maintained, as well as quiet; there are snacks and coffee/tea. I was very satisfied with the work done and the helpfulness of the staff. More
You hear stories about dreading car shopping and so I did dread it but once I found Farrish I realized they were not that stereotypical car dealership. They were friendly, great with children, knowledgeable, dread it but once I found Farrish I realized they were not that stereotypical car dealership. They were friendly, great with children, knowledgeable, flexible and more like friends/family who just wanted to help. I highly recommend them! More
I have never been to a dealership that is so rude and unprofessional. Staff is disorganized and does not communicate with one another. Many times now I have gone for a service and been treated like an id unprofessional. Staff is disorganized and does not communicate with one another. Many times now I have gone for a service and been treated like an idiot. Once when I had a rock stuck in a rear tire, they claimed nothing was wrong. Clearly, they did not take the car for a drive at all to not hear the blood curdling whine of rock on metal … Then, I go in to get an estimate on a wheel repair for a scraped rim after hitting a curb. They recommended a new $450 tire and wheel instead of trying to fix the damage. Not knowing better, I agreed. Turns out the tire is perfectly fine and this is simply a cosmetic detail that could’ve been easily and cheaply fixed. Felt like wool pulled over my eyes since I am a young woman. They also did not check and regularly do not check the maintenance packages on my account and have repeatedly tried to charge me for oil changes, etc until this is pointed out. Most recently I was treated like a fool when bringing my car in for a service appoint they assured me could be done in 45-60minutes. First, I arrive and they have no knowledge of a tire being delivered after being shaved down for me, over two weeks before. They made me run through the explanation of when I came in and what work was to be done at least three times. Why can one service employee not just communicate to another or in the least put this correctly in the ticket? Not to forget the service manager had called my father not two days prior to me coming in to ask what we were doing about putting on the tire. Lack of communication like you have never seen before. They have repeatedly been unaware my car, which we bought from there, comes with a full size spare too. I was spoken to like a dumb blonde "and you're sure you got a phone call that it was ready, why didn't you pre-pay for this?" Again, rude and uninformed that we have a tire maintenance package that covered this work. When it was finally discovered that the tire was infact there, they took the car back (I arrived at 7:48 for a 7:45 appointment and work was not started until close to 8:15) I was told it was impossible to also get the maintenance interval or even just an oil change done in less than an hour and a half despite the service manager saying all work would take 45-60 minutes. When I asked shyly how long just an oil change would take as I now only had a little under an hour before I had to go, I was rudely met with a response of "the same amount of time… do you see how many people are in the waiting room?!" Upon checkout, they tried to charge me full price and only caught their own mistake since my father had called shortly before to complain about the fact the full service wasn't being done despite being told it could be. Another rude comment made by the service employee after this was "see, it's 8:27 and i'm getting you out of here". My car was parked across the parking lot and not driven up for me as per usual, and they left the plastic they put on the seat there instead of throwing it away as they always have. Horrendous and belittling experience. My father brought the car in for the aforementioned maintenance service and was screamed at by the service employee who not only treated him rudely actually SCREAMING and arguing with him about facts told to us by the service manager Kenny but also another service employee Aaron, but said employee - Danny - lied to him and said I didn't arrive until 8:15 for my appointment. I have evidence I arrived at 7:48 as I was stuck at the light and called my father at 7:57 after ten minutes of back and forth with the sales employee about him having no knowledge of a tire for me or promise to get this service done and implying I was never called. He said to my father I didn't arrive until 8:15. Mistreatment of women, no customer service, and no communication among staff. AVOID!! Small detail, but even when I bought my new car, they misspelled my name in the Subaru portal for MySubaru More
