Awesome experience. It was a "toss-up" between a Jeep and a Ford Edge. The Jeep sold itself; however, Terry Fant helped. Great salesman! He made us feel comfortable with our decision. Simon Chu is a valuable asset to the Farrish organization. Purchasing a car at today's prices is an anxiety filled process. The last vehicle we purchased involved repeated trips to the manag organization. Purchasing a car at today's prices is an anxiety filled process. The last vehicle we purchased involved repeated trips to the manager and extended negotiations before we were able to sign at a price near our offer. In fact, we were on the verge of walking out before our price was finally met. We expected a similar ordeal on this occasion as well. However, Simon's knowledgable, personable and helpful demeanor quickly dissipated our anxiety and made the buying experience enjoyable. His knowledge of the product is extensive and he very thoroughly explained even the most minor features of the vehicle. We understand that car dealers are in the business to make a profit and salesmen work on commission. With this in mind, we made what we thought was a reasonable offer for the vehicle we selected. Simon quickly returned with a counter offer that was within a few hundred dollars of what we expected to pay. Upon easily reaching this point, we complicated matters by requesting to look at vehicle of a different color. Simon didn't hesitate. He quickly found an almost identical vehicle in the inventory, thoroughly explained the difference in pricing and again provided a cost figure we felt was reasonable. The remainder of the process went just as smoothly. We did purchase an add on feature, side steps. Since it was a Sunday, service personnel were not available. Simon contacted us as promised on Monday morning to follow-up on the item owed us. He informed us that parts personnel had been dispatched to pick up the necessary items and he would contact us by noon to let us know when we could bring the vehicle in to have the work completed. We are awaiting that call and hopefully that process will go as smoothly as that of the previous day. Thus far, we must say it was an outstanding experience. Simon Chu is an outstanding representative for the Jeep brand! To the extent that the quality of the subordinate reflects the values of the organization and management, we would say well done Farrish! More
