Overall we love our car, but the experience of buying it made us walk away several times. Actually, if we did not like the car so much we would have walked away. First, we had a hard time getting a bottom line prices quote, a clear answer as to why slush mats were not available, whether we would get out deposit back of we changed our minds, and accurate information and pricing on extended and warranties. even though the car was being outfitted the way we wanted for two weeks when we showed up the paperwork was not ready for us and the car was not gassed up. Not sure why we had to make an Appt if the dealership was not ready for us. Finally, the dealership at the last minute tried to get us to buy additional warranties at time of sale, rather than provide us the information as part if out decision making process. It did to feel honest to us. We love jeeps, but this experience makes it hard to say that the next new car will be a jeep. More
I had shopped for a late model/low mileage used, or new Challenger for nearly a year and was not going to accept something that wasn't very close to exactly what I wanted. I didn't "need" the car for transportation in the near future, allowing me to shop at leisure. I did all of the normal "internet" searching and a few dealers had my name. Terry Fant called me on the 12th of Jan with the car that I wanted in the color that I wanted at a very competitive price. This was a "no joking around...let's not waste time...just get the customer what he wants" kind of deal. I drove up with my wife (almost 3 hours) on the 19th with the desire to get "in and out" as quickly as possible on a long day. I have had other experiences with car purchases that, for one reason or another, took 2-3 hours to complete. The car and the paperwork were ready and Terry gave me a thorough checkout in the car and explained the unique features. He also went over the abbreviated owners manual and explained how I could get the "real McCoy." We were back on the road in about an hour and remain delighted with the experience and, of course, the car. More
Having had a less than pleasant experience at a closer Jeep dealership, we weren't sure if it was worth the trek to Fairfax. Problem was, Farrish had my Jeep! Walked in, and the Jeep was sitting there on the showroom floor, beautiful. Immediately greeted by Terry, none of our salesman hackles went up. He's simply put a friendly, easy to talk to guy with IMMENSE knowledge of Jeep products. We've had the opportunity over our years to deal with many sales people and I have to say without a doubt Terry made this the best experience we've ever had. Additionally we were pleased with the process of trading in our vehicle as well as with Michelle in the finance office (ask her why her stapler is pink LOL). Start to finish we have absolutely nothing but the best things to say. We only wish your dealership was closer to us so we could get to know your service department as well. Formerly a long-term Ford owner, but now looking forward to being a long-term member of the Jeep family! More
