We ordered a new Jeep Patriot through Farrish, and Mr. Hoffman and Mr. Chu were friendly, polite, patient and attentive throughout every step of the ordering process. The final price was considerably lower than pricing we had received from any other dealership, making it affordable to get a few extras to make the Jeep a better "fit" for us. We drove four hours to pick up the vehicle, and the purchase and delivery went without a hitch. The vehicle was ready at the specified time, nicely cleaned and full of fuel, the paperwork went smoothly and efficiently, and Mr. Chu spent plenty of time explaining the features and functions of our new vehicle, making sure that we had time to ask questions. Of course, these are things that you would expect from sales staff at a dealership, but in our limited experience of buying from a dealer, these two gentlemen really went the extra mile to insure that this was a good experience and that we were both well-informed and satisfied. We certainly appreciate their courtesy, professionalism, and consideration, and would certainly recommend this dealership and sales team to anyone! More

Mr. Simon Chu kept us informed of progress in the manufacturing process and never lost his cool when we became impatient. Ms. Murphy was very personable and very helpful. She presented us with a list of extended warranty options and other products without pushing us to choose one or the other. We ended up buying an extended warranty and maintenance agreement only after Ms. Murphy answered all our questions regarding the actual coverage of those warranties and she even contacted the service department to confirm the some elements of the suspensions were covered. The sales manager Justin Hoffman arranged for our car to be driven to the dealership when a trucker's strike stopped deliveries. It was the least stressful car buying experiences we have ever had. After 9 years with my 2002 Jeep Liberty (also bought at Farrish) it was time for a "new" jeep. Originally, I thought that I was most likely looking at getting a used one but stopped by anyway. We talked about my situation, what I looking at, etc. We looked at the new Liberty's there and he mentioned that there was a new one off the lot that there was a internet special on that I could look at the next day. Then he went down with me to the Farrish Used Car Dealer (Justin sent him with me so I wouldn't have to reintroduce myself). After a false start of thinking the "off-lot" Liberty had been sold, Ed brought the Liberty out to my house to test drive due to the mix up of it being available/not available. The next day I went in to see what we could do on price. I was given a good offer on my trade in and the result is that I ended up in a new Liberty. The process was about as painless as it can get. I never felt pushed or felt like a sales job was being worked on me. More

I also appreciated him walking me through my vehicle at delivery and making sure I understood how to use all of the featur thorough, and responsive. The car looked great (freshly washed, etc.) on delivery and the gas tank was full. Catherine, with finance, was very nice to work with as well as I went through the necessary paperwork. All in all, a painless process. The price was excellent - about $1,000 less than my area Jeep dealers, which is why I drove three hours to buy from Farrish. More

I had a great experience overall pertaining to the sales staff, as well as the Director of Finance. It was quite disappointing given the amount of time we spent there AND that we purchased a brand new car. This is the second purchase I've made from a Farrish dealership (the previous one was with the used cars) and I was hoping that they'd at least bring a fully detailed car.... Thanks for taking my thoughts into consideration, I would assume if this is a trend, others aren't pleased with the last step in the process. Like a first impression, last impressions are lasting... Farrish was the second dealership I went to. At my first one, the salesperson I dealt with was friendly but not very product-knowledgeable. Ed Brown contacted me after I had submitted a USAA price request. Initially, when he called I could not talk with him because of being at work and in the middle of some important stuff. However, we did exchange a few emails and I was quite satisfied with the information he provided me, so I went to see him. He was very knowledgeable about the product and was able to make several recommendations regarding what to get (trim level, engine size). Kudos to him because he sold me my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I would send anyone to see him. If he doesn't know an answer, he knows where to find it. He is very outgoing and friendly as well. Catherine Murphy was able to provide me with all of the finance information, extended warranty, and other add-on items (LoJack, for example). While it took a bit of time with her (all the signatures, going over the options), she still did it quite effectively and should also be commended for her work. She may not be the one who does the sales, but as a supporting person in this role she too deserves some credit for her work. I would be very happy to send people to Farrish of Fairfax for their new car needs. More
This was the best car buying experience I have ever been through. Ed was terrific- not pushy and worked to get the best deal for me. He even came in on his day off.
