Bad Brake Job In dec of 2013 I had my brakes serviced here. 500.00 and told what a bargain it was because I was a senior citizen. I was told by another dealer that the rear brakes were bad, rotors & pads less than 8 months later. When I called Fairway Ford service and told them, they said to get them fixed at that dealer. So much for there 24month guarantee. This dealership is terrible for public relations and service. The other dealer replaced the rotors & pads free. More

He estimated my trade before I went to the dealership. His trade amount was more than fair. I half expected it to change when I arrived at the Ford Dealership lot. I was pleasantly surprised. My new truck was cleaned and ready, and full of gas. They drove my trade in, and everything was just as agreed on the internet. All of my paperwork was ready and I was finished in under an hour. I then went to purchase some accessories from Kevin, the e-bay guy, in parts. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. His prices were great too. I would go back to Fairway Ford and I have recommended them to many friends already. Great job! Thanks. More
Bad customer service/attitude in parts. Short story: Terrible customer service from Kevin the egomaniac in parts. Long story: saw the grille I needed for my superduty on Fairway's ebay for $ Short story: Terrible customer service from Kevin the egomaniac in parts. Long story: saw the grille I needed for my superduty on Fairway's ebay for $389. Called Fairway was very polite, got quoted 5 something, asked to speak to internet parts guy and was told no problem we will match the internet, c'mon in. Upon arriving at Fairway I indicated to Kevin that I would like to take a look at the part before paying. Kevin became irritated when I told him I was planning on using the chrome surround with my king ranch insert and argued with me that it is not a 2 piece design when indeed it is. He told me twice "I have enough business, go to Donnell and pay 5 something" and further when on to tell me that he is "sick and tired of customers attitudes" and that I was welcome to take up his attitude problem with the owner because "he [the owner] knows how much money I make this company and won't care to lose you as a customer". So I said sure, lemme speak with the owner. He smugly replied that the owner is on vacation. Ahhh, yes, very convenient- while the cat's away, the mice will play. No wonder he was so quick to be so rude and unpleasant. He went on to tell me that there was no one above him at the dealership at that time that I could talk to. I found this rather hard to believe since he was sitting on a stool at the parts counter. I ventured out front where I located a manager, let him know what was going on and was assured that he would talk to Kevin and the owner upon his return from vacation. Fairway didn't just lose a measly $389 that day as Kevin was so quick to point out- my '08 King Ranch F250 is getting traded in this summer on a new one ($60k) and my wife is in the market for an Explorer Sport ($50k plus). Wonder how many other car sales Kevin has lost for Fairway this year with his terrible customer service? Who would want to buy a new vehicle from Fairway and have to deal with HIM when they need a part? Not me. And btw I took Kevin's advice and went to Donnell. They were happy to match the price. More
Purchased a new F150 from them. I did almost everything online, emailed a bunch of dealers, they had the best price. Showed up, truck was ready, did paperwork, out the door in less than an hour. Only time online, emailed a bunch of dealers, they had the best price. Showed up, truck was ready, did paperwork, out the door in less than an hour. Only time I got bad vibes was from the finance guy, when he said my only opportunity to buy the extended warranty was day of purchase. I passed, that is completely untrue. Other than that it was great! I worked with their internet sales guy, think his name was AJ. More
All the employees will lie you cannot trust this business I had a mirror with a cracked housing fairway sad the whole unit needed replaced at the cost of $550. When I got the bill it was $783.34 after arguin I had a mirror with a cracked housing fairway sad the whole unit needed replaced at the cost of $550. When I got the bill it was $783.34 after arguing fairway said it was a mistake. But it gets better I wanted the the broken part which was the whole unit including heated mirror turn signal all enclosed in a plastic housing. Fairway lied an said they threw it in trash and could no longer find it. So what the thieves did was just replaced a $30.00 plastic housing unit that was cracked an then used the rest of the parts to make what Fairway said was all brand new Fairway will rip you off. More
I went to buy a new crew cab f150 there. I took my very clean gmc 3/4 to trade. It booked for $6,700 trade in on nada. It is a very very clean truck thats needed nothing. They offered me $1,000 for it. Wha clean gmc 3/4 to trade. It booked for $6,700 trade in on nada. It is a very very clean truck thats needed nothing. They offered me $1,000 for it. What a total waist of time and gas. The only reason they offer good deals is because they try to give you peanuts for your trade. When it comes down to it they are no better on price than any one else if your trading something in. Take it from me dont waist your time. More
I test drove a used 2003 Mercury on Fairway Ford's lot and noticed a noise in the front end. I told the salesman, Jeff Stockman, that I was concerned that this could be the rack and pinion. He said he wou and noticed a noise in the front end. I told the salesman, Jeff Stockman, that I was concerned that this could be the rack and pinion. He said he would have a service technician check it out the next morning. I spoke with him the next morning and he said that the tech determined that it was a $50 tie rod end not the $450 rack and pinion assembly. Based on that, we made a deal and I took delivery of the car that day. A couple of days later I went to replace the tie rod end, only to find that the tie rod end was fine and the problem IS a bad rack and pinion unit! The salesman had no problem lying about this prior to the sale to bait and switch me into buying the car. When I called to ask him if they would help me out since they gave me bad information, he refused to do anything. In fact, he and his sales manager continued to lie! In addition to the fact that they lied about the rack and pinion, they also added a $250 documentation fee to the price of the car and told me that it was a state mandated fee. This is also a lie. I paid it because I didn't know I had a choice, but after researching this I have learned that the state does NOT mandate this fee. The state LIMITS what a dealer can charge, and Fairway Ford charges the maximum fee! This is pure hidden profit for the dealership! Add to all of this that they covered up problems with the car's air conditioning, and that it took 1-1/2 hours for them to complete the paperwork, and I will warn everyone I know to avoid Paul Hrnchar's Fairway Ford!
