A Late Cold Night!!! But I got my car! I finally lost faith in my high, high mileage car and needed a new one fast. I pulled into this dealership a few minutes before closing. The salesman was so awesome as I drove a couple of vehicles. Everyone stayed a couple of hours past closing to complete the deal. They were awesome!! Now I'm driving worry-free! More
Great service, not so great scheduling I always get great service. Scheduling the service is another thing. Really bad phone connection to the lady I scheduled with, I think it may have been Stacy. The phone was so bad it sounded like it was outsourced to another location. She couldn't find my car under my name even though I bought the car here and have all my service done here. Eventually found my vehicle under my cell phone #. She also put down 140,000 mile check instead of 120,000. Luckilly Josh (I think that was his name) called me to tell me the 120,000 was almost $200 more than the 140,000 mile checkup. Like I said, always good service at a reasonable price. More

Trying to screw me out of money I bought my car at Fairfield VW and had a relitively good experience and bought a "warranty" with it, so when I had a check engine light come on of co I bought my car at Fairfield VW and had a relitively good experience and bought a "warranty" with it, so when I had a check engine light come on of course I scheduled an appointment for service. Went in and my appointment wasn't scheduled then after waiting 1 1/2 hrs for them to read the code, they came back and said all 4 of my glow plugs needed to be replaced. This is going to be an 877$ expense. So I reiterated, "all 4 went bad" to which they responded "yes" and it wasn't covered by my warranty. I decided to leave after waiting for it for another hour and take it to another shop that diagnosed it for free in 5 minutes and told me one of them went bad and it ended up costing 150$ with parts. I have always owned VW and love the vehicles. That being said, this type of xxxxxxxx is unacceptable and no wonder people believe they are expensive to maintain and don't want to own them. I am part of the VW tdi settlement and will be seriously considering taking the buyout instead of the settlement. And if that's the case I will think twice about recommending them to anyone in the future. More

The selling dealership was terrible (good price, but that was about it), so when I needed a warranty repair carrying out a few months after buying it, I rang a couple of places before settling on Fairfield. I first dealt with Guy and he's a GTI nut which was really reassuring; he treat my car like it was his own. The most recent time I was in I dealt with Chad and he couldn't have been more helpful. Work always seems to be carried out to a high standard and they are extremely knowledgeable. Recommended. More

I asked for a loaner because I had to pick up grandkids after school. One was provided without question. I was called back the next afternoon and told of 4 things that needed repair, two of which were major. I asked if Chad could talk to my husband when he got home from work due to the cost of the work he said was needed. That was fine with Chad, but he would be leaving for the day at 5:00.; therefore, I told him that Bob would have to call him in the morning. After they spoke, my husband decided to get another opinion and price quote on the work. We could not afford $1,900.00 at this time and felt that the charges were excessive. I have worked with Chad several times. He is always very pleasant, polite, and professional. More
epitome of poor customer service To whom it may concern: On November 30th I went to the Fairfield Volkswagen dealership to have the 30,000 mileage service performed on my 2013 VW J To whom it may concern: On November 30th I went to the Fairfield Volkswagen dealership to have the 30,000 mileage service performed on my 2013 VW Jetta. When I turned my car in for service the radio/GPS system was working just fine (in fact I know this because I had to use the GPS to find this dealership). When the service check was finished and I returned to my car my GPS/radio was broken, the screen was completely black! When I pointed this out to the staff they had me talk with the Manager Mrs. Riggs. Mrs. Riggs told me that since it was an aftermarket radio, they would not look at it to see what was wrong, even refusing to simply check the fuse box and had the audacity to tell me it must have been broken before I brought the car in. I can’t believe after spending $300 for routine maintenance on my car they can’t take the time to check a fuse box! Then Mrs. Riggs had the nerve to push VW products on me and stated they would be happy to remove my after market radio and re-install a VW one (at my cost of course)! With all that has been happening with Volkswagen I can’t believe you would treat a loyal consumer this way. I cannot put into words how dissatisfied I am with this dealership and Volkswagen. As someone who will soon be in the market for a new car, I can say I will NEVER step foot in another VW dealership again. Furthermore, my parents are also in the market for 2 new cars in the next ~1 year, and I’m urging them, all my family, friends and co-workers to boycott VW. I’m also leveraging all the social media that I can to urge anyone to not only not buy any of your products in the future, but for those who have the unfortunate circumstance to be current owners, to seek service elsewhere. Your inattention to a concern, and complete lack of follow-through, for an issue that your dealership clearly created borders on the criminal. The audacity and incompetence of your service department has me struggling to find strong enough language to post my concerns without offending my potential readers. While I doubt that there is anything that you can do to overcome this egregious situation, please feel free to contact me if you share my concern for the outrageousness of the epitome of poor customer service.
