Excellent service department. My 2007 VW Jetta had issues with the security system. It took several weeks to find, but seems to be working. lazy, laid back, don’t pay attention I had an appointment for an oil change. I got the car at the dealership in Dayton. The people there were absolutely great. They put YOU first. When I I had an appointment for an oil change. I got the car at the dealership in Dayton. The people there were absolutely great. They put YOU first. When I went for my oil change the Dayton people told me I needed a checklist of things done with it so I called Fairfield because they were closer and told them all that had to be done etc and had a set time for my appt. well I got there and it’s like this phone call never happened? I was confused and had to restate everything i was told had to be checked at the 10,000 mile mark. Anyway, a while later my car horn started honking when I was out of town and I received a call from a neighbor. Clearly I couldn’t do anything about it so we had a relative go up to our house and get my key and try to stop it, check for anything that was left on, reopen and shut doors/trunk, and start it and it kept honking until we disconnected the battery. It was then towed into this shop and for days they “said” they ran tests. Who knows because when my grandma finally went up to the shop to get it because they said it’d be good to go they told her they’d lend a rental because something just popped up saying there is something wrong with the car. Well they should have told that to me or my dad (he was communicating with them too) before sending my grandma up there. That makes me think they waited around until they HAD to do something. I get that car shops are busy but I was gone for a week and nothing got done. A WEEK! when I came home I had to drive something to get to work so now I’m driving my car that apparently has something wrong with it. I don’t want to go back to Fairfield VW. hopefully I can make it back up to Dayton where they put their customers first and try their hardest to get you in and out of there as soon as possible because they understand that people have lives and jobs to be at every day. More
