I was very disappointed in the service center's lack of knowledge on my Ford Explorer's recalls. I waited a very long time, 8-12 months to get my rear backup camera fixed from a recall. But, I will say that once the dealership got the parts needed they did cater to me by picking up and dropping off my car which was nice. Hoping for a better service experience in the future... More
Very pleasant experience. That is the good part. I tried to call the service department for three hours and left three messages with the customer service member that answered That is the good part. I tried to call the service department for three hours and left three messages with the customer service member that answered the phone. The recalls were fixed but none of the other issues. The paperwork stated that they could not duplicate the problems. The next day the passenger door, exterior lock and unlock, failed again. The driver door lock problem wasn’t even investigated. It is a safety issue and that should have at least pulled the door panel to see what is binding up. I guess I’ll just have to do it myself. This is my first brand new Ford and I am disappointed with the warranty repairs. More
