Love my new SUV My experience with Fairfax Motors was exceptional. I have been researching cars for the last two months - driving some - but mostly Internet research. My experience with Fairfax Motors was exceptional. I have been researching cars for the last two months - driving some - but mostly Internet research. From my first email with Fairfax Motors to my followup a few days after the sale they were easy to work with and quick to respond. More importantly based on all of my research I believe the price I paid was a good deal and lower than I could have paid with other dealers. (My search area was 100 miles from Richmond in any direction so I had looked in Northern Virginia, as far as Virginia Beach and out to Charlottesville and beyond. The team I worked with were all professional and none were pushy. I started dealing with Pat - emailing back and forth with questions. He never tried to pressure me to come in which is what most dealers would do as it's much easier to pressure a sale in person. When I decided to drive the 90 miles up to the dealership, it was on Pat's day off. I was impressed that he did not try to get me to come in on another day so he could get the full sale...instead he directed me on who to ask for. I worked with Pauline, who was knowledgeable, honest and fun to work with. They were supported by John who was involved enough to let me know it mattered to him but never made me feel pressured as SO many other dealership managers do...does anyone other than me break out in hives when a car salesman says "my manager is going to come over and speak to you" which in my experience has translated to here comes the pressure sales...but not at Fairfax Motors. Finally I worked with Laura on the financing. I had come up with financing in place, but when I went to close on the loan my credit union increased the rate so though it was still a good rate on principle I turned down my credit union loan and Laura worked to get me a similar package together. As I said - start to finish...excellent service and did I mention that I LOVE my new vehicle. More

As were were driving to Fairfax Motors, I mentioned to the hubster that its been family-owned and operated for 25 years as I'd read briefly on cars.co As were were driving to Fairfax Motors, I mentioned to the hubster that its been family-owned and operated for 25 years as I'd read briefly on cars.com...and it so shows: in the knowledge and courtesy of our saleswoman Pauline, who went through the details of the fantastic vehicle we eventually purchased while swapping stories of ways to sit ergonomically at our desks; to the manager/owner John Fleming, who assured us that our every last concern over detailing and fixes would be met before signing the dotted line with a firm handshake; to the expertise of their financial guru Laura Davis who whizzed us through our number crunching with a zip and a click to get us out the door and into our new baby, but with full knowledge of our responsibilities, right down to the last ten dollars. It reminds me of what car buying used to be...a pleasant, utterly lovely experience, where I literally cried in the lot saying goodbye to the older vehicle I so dearly loved and equally emoted with renewed tears of excitement for the new wheels that will spin me down the road into new years of adventure.
