I have been purchasing Ford and Mercury vehicles my entire life. I have had very good cars and service over the 45+ years I have been buying. Very Unprofessional Service - "No Service" service My experience with the service, provided by Fair Oaks Lincoln, used to be very good - until they moved to the new location at 1564 W Ogden. In the last experience with the service, provided by Fair Oaks Lincoln, used to be very good - until they moved to the new location at 1564 W Ogden. In the last 10 months 2 times I had to use them - in June 2021 and yesterday, March 28th 2022. Both times was for warranty repairs, both times I came a day before, was told to come the next day at 7 am (the opening time), both times I did come at 7 am and both times for a whole day nobody even came close to my car. In June on the second day they took care of the problem. I am a limousine driver, my car is a commercial car, and I cannot work when it is kept hostage at the dealership. When yesterday, couple of hours before closing, I was told that again they would not be able to spend any time on my car, and I have to talk the next day to another person, I told the manager Mr Posada, that he does not have to bother anymore with my car and I am picking it up. Today I went to the Highland Park Lincoln dealer without any prior appointment (both times at Fair Oaks I did arrange to bring the car to them), and in 3.5 hours, until I was waiting, they did the diagnostics, and let me go. The repair parts are ordered, and they will call me when the parts arrive. In both cases - June last year and now, the problems were connected with electronics - the car was drivable, but not not usable as a limousine. Since 2006 I bought 4 Lincolns - 2006 Towncar, 2011 Towncar, 2016 MKS, and 2020 Continental. The buying record is no secret, yet Mr Posada, after telling me to come at 7 am, twice kept the car for a whole day without even getting close to the car. Highland Park is a substantially bigger dealership, and busier, yet they always can see me right away - I don't mind waiting a few hours. Highland Park is 50+ miles away from my home, and Fair Oaks bare 4 miles, yet I will never again go to Fair Oaks for service. Mr. Posada, you will have one less warranty customer to deal with. More
Their service department is nothing but a scam. Multiple repairs over the past year and every time they "fixed" something we had to bring it back for something else. Arline Kuhr at Fair Oaks Ford was amazing from start to finish. We had brought in a company truck for a multi-point inspection. I wish i have less than 1 star review to give. We were scammed by this dealer. They diagnosed my error code high voltage and i paid to fix it Took the car, i drove less than 50 mile then the car stop agai scammed by this dealer. No body wanted to talk to me and they want me to pay more to diagnose again after i paid 165$ only for the first diagnosis. I spoke with manager didn't do anything. I don't recommend this Non-professional dealership. Update: I called the dealership on the phone number provided by the reply. Guess what?! I was shove around. I was treated in rude way. The first question is “why you are calling us?!” A lot of yelling and screaming at me. Finally advised not to call again. And i was firmly ordered don't bring your car. We don't want to see you. Take it somewhere else. My question is whoever replied on my review ,put the phone number and asked me to call. Why you did this to me, why you wanted me to go through this experience of lake of respect and mistreating , off course because i have accent was treated this way. Why you provided me with the phone number ?! Is it revenge because of the review ?! I am sure you have recorded the phone call like any other customer service. You can go back and check what happened. Completely disappointed ,frustrated of course i had a bad discrimination experience with this dealership. More
