I had some extensive suspension modifications to make to a new '14 Raptor. Popular opinion is that you bring your vehicle to a specialty shop for these types of modifications; however, I had the opportunit a new '14 Raptor. Popular opinion is that you bring your vehicle to a specialty shop for these types of modifications; however, I had the opportunity to talk with Joe (assistant Service Manager) and with their "SVT technician," Mark. After doing so, I felt confident that they had the skills and experience to perform the work with the high level of quality that I was looking for. I was not disappointed. Mark did a fantastic job, even confirming a couple special things with an engineer at the suspension kit company. They provided me timely updates and completed the work on the estimated timeline and for the estimated price. On these types of projects, you learn more about a company when something doesn't go to plan...and this was the case when it came down to the final step of performing the alignment. Although their alignment rack was supposed to be able to handle the raptor, it was throwing faults and was ultimately unable to align the castor. Joe and Mark went out of their way to identify shops that could handle it and offered me different options for finishing up the work - bringing it to them myself, or they could. I couldn't be happier with the truck and the work they performed. More
Great Service Center. I originally went in for repairs for a rattling noise. I intended to get to the dealership at 7:30 am Friday morning for my first oil change. I made it there at 9 am. The service dept. was so busy, there was one seat left in the customer lounge. I had expect morning for my first oil change. I made it there at 9 am. The service dept. was so busy, there was one seat left in the customer lounge. I had expected to wait an hour or so at 7:30am. Because it was so busy, I settled in for an 1.5-2 hour wait. Less than 45 minutes later my car was done and they had even rotated my tires at no charge. I love this place! Sincerely, Pat Cherny More
We have two cars and my wife drives our '06 Chrysler Pacifica almost exclusively. I recently drove it for the first time in over several months. I couldn't believe how bad of shape it was in. The ste Pacifica almost exclusively. I recently drove it for the first time in over several months. I couldn't believe how bad of shape it was in. The steering was really loose and there was some sort of clunk when I accelerated. The brakes seemed bad too since I had to push in quite a bit on the pedal. It was also leaking some fluid and started to leak quite a bit. It then overheated while my wife was driving it. Since the oil and trans fluid were always fine, it had to be the coolant. I filled it with water just to get it into the dealership. We took it to Fair Oaks Ford since we recently bought a Fusion there and felt very comfortable with them. I only told them about the overheating, but they came back with other issues that needed to be addressed. Engine mounts (the clunking on acceleration), brakes (as I had suspected), and tie-rods (the loose steering), along with a bad water pump (leaking and overheating). After getting the Pacifica back, it was amazing. It drove like new. They correctly diagnosed and fixed all the problems that I had noticed. Very impressed. I would definitely recommend this dealership for service of any vehicle. More

Was traveling through Naperville, IL, (Jan 2013) when I experienced engine problems on my Ford. Went to the Fair Oaks Ford-Lincoln Dealer Service Department during posted service hours and was told they d experienced engine problems on my Ford. Went to the Fair Oaks Ford-Lincoln Dealer Service Department during posted service hours and was told they didn't have mechanics working during the posted hours but I could leave my care for several days and they could probably work on it the next week. Even though I was not from the area, and needed the vehicle to get home that day, they would not provide any information about an alternate location where I might get my car serviced in a timely manner. I travel extensively and have occasionally experienced car problems. Every other time I can remember, dealers have bent over backwards to help get me on my way and they have referred me to an appropriate alternative if they could not provide the service themselves. The people were not mean but just unhelpful and unconcerned that I was not from the area (probably didn't see us as future business) and that we needed to get home. More

He also stated that he has added a note to their system on the oil capacity of the 5.4L 3-valve Triton engine to prevent this from happening again. I will give them a second chance, but will reserve recommending them pending the outcome of my next oil change. ********************** 12/14/11: I came in for an oil change on a 2006 F-150 with the 5.4L V8. Out of habit I checked the oil level after the service was completed. The oil level was low (at the bottom line of the crosshatch). The mechanic had only put in 6qt of oil when the 5.4L engine takes 7qt. The issue was corrected, however, both the mechanic and the service writer stated they thought my truck took 6qt, but didn't bother to look it up and check. I know an oil change is a simple service that doesn't pay the mechanic as well as others, but it is a very important maintenance item and if a simple service is not done correctly I will not trust that shop to do any other service.
