The drive shaft bounced back up so hard that it dented the oil pan and created a 6 month ordeal to get the vibration in my transmission fixed. After 6 months with Fair Oaks, I took it to another dealer and they ended up replacing my entire transmission - problem solved. Best part of it was that the service team at Fair Oaks told me that "this happens all the time" and "that there is nothing to worry about since that was our best transmission expert". - In addition to the ordeal, the service manager there doesn't know the first thing about servicing a vehicle. Talk to one of the techs not the service manager. - The service manager will keep you waiting even if you have an appointment My Wrangler spent over 35 days in the shop, and I spent countless hours waiting for repairs or the Service Manager to show up. Definitely do not take your vehicle here for a service. More

Have serviced my Jeep at this location a number of times--primarily because it is the nearest to me. And while my experience with the sales staff here, Sony Pierre in particular, has been outstanding times--primarily because it is the nearest to me. And while my experience with the sales staff here, Sony Pierre in particular, has been outstanding...the service department experience has been the worst I've encountered in nearly 30 years of driving. In particular: 1. The service department has yet to respond to an online request for service--despite the availability of their web forms. 2. Each time I've taken my vehicle in, the service department has forgotten to do part of the scheduled service (like tire rotation). 3. Little things that I've grown to appreciate at other dealerships (like noticing that my vehicle needs and inspection and offering to do that) are lost on them...no attention to detail here. They're really just phoning it in. 4. No follow up. By way of example, I ask for a recall to be addressed--they, for some reason, didn't have the parts in stock. They ordered them and told me they'd call when the parts were in...nothing but crickets for over a month. 5. Repeated negative feedback on the surveys have produced no results or apparent interest from the service manager, the GM, or Chrysler for that matter. In short, great place to buy a car...steer way clear of the service department. More
I came in for service on my 2006 Jeep Commander and decided to walk around while I was waiting. I met William over a year ago when I bought my Commander and was looking for an older model YJ. I had n decided to walk around while I was waiting. I met William over a year ago when I bought my Commander and was looking for an older model YJ. I had no intentions of buying a vehicle because I liked my Commander, although it does have 103K miles. I left Saturday evening with a 2013 White Wrangerl Unlimited and love it!! William was fantastic. I have always really enjoyed getting service at Chantilly Jeep, but now I have gone through the sales experience, and can now 100% recommend this place. I never felt like I was being "sold" a car like most car sales men make you feel. I truly felt William had my best interest in mind. In the end I left happy. Thanks!!!! More
I have owned my Jeep Wrangler for less than 1 month now and it has been in for Service 3 times now. I should have figured as much, as the purchase experience itself was a nightmare. The 1st service was due and it has been in for Service 3 times now. I should have figured as much, as the purchase experience itself was a nightmare. The 1st service was due to the Radio/Nav system not working properly, the 2nd service was to fix a water leak on the floor board when it rained, and the 3rd service is to once again try to fix the wate rleak, which wasn't fixed properly last time. One of the service guys actually told me that this is a common issue with Jeeps and it is to be expected. Wow, really? What great customer service and faith in the product that you you sell. Instead, how about "I'm so sorry for your inconvenience, we will do everything we can to remedy the situation." I am not too impressed with the customer service or the professionalism at this dealership! Their only saving grace is a sales person named Sony Pierre and the Service Manager Tom. Both Tom & Sonny are very professional, understanding, and they make sure to go out of their way to provide great customer service. Hopefully some of their attributes rub off on their fellow employees. More
Brought my car in for service that was covered under warranty. Not only did they not fix the problem, they left the vehicle worse off then when I brought it to them. Over 5 calls made to management and warranty. Not only did they not fix the problem, they left the vehicle worse off then when I brought it to them. Over 5 calls made to management and I haven't spoken with anyone higher then a secretary. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! More
We scheduled an appointment to have our Jeep looked at We scheduled an appointment to have our Jeep looked at already knowing what was wrong with it. My husband called and asked if we could drop it off at We scheduled an appointment to have our Jeep looked at already knowing what was wrong with it. My husband called and asked if we could drop it off at 930 am instead of 230 on May 1,2013 and have it looked at early? Response was absolutely we can get it in this morning. My husband took our Jeep in to the service department spoke directly with a Tech. Explained in detail what we were experiencing and the computer code it was reading( picture included). All that being documented. As the day progressed my husband attempted on four different instances to obtain information on our jeep one voice mail, one written note once speaking to another lady. Only to have Barbara return the call to tell him they were still diagnosing it 5 hours later? Then AT 232 she called again to tell us what the issue was( again we already knew that going in) and that it would be 450+ dollars. I was so upset with this I called and requested the service manager( Tom Archer). He called me back I explained my disappointment and requested why the cost was so high. Why we were now at 345 in the afternoon without our vehicle when all the information was given at 930 am to be told it was exactly what we explained to a tech. I also stated that less than 90 days ago they charged us over 700 hundred dollars and told us they checked everything else out how could this have been missed not to mention why we had to initiate calls. He stated he needed to check into it. At 416 pm and then again at 419 pm May 1,2013 Tom called my cell phone and told me 250 dollars for the one pc..the rest was for cleaning and clearing my computer and codes. I returned his call and to date he has not called me back.....The jeep was fixed we paid 450+ and when i asked for an itemized bill the young girl was alarmed and sent me to some guy in a tie - he told me the 49.95 was to dispose of rags and things.. Again no itemized statement.. Long story short- they are not trustworthy and we feel completely betrayed and disrespected. I am still waiting for someone to make this right from their end.. Sincerely. Tonya Bertke-Younk More
I was disappointed with my service experience; I received an email from Tom Archer, to feel free to contact him with any issues. Stay away! Sales and Service contradicts each other's sales pitch just to get your money! The service people are very deceiving and outright arrogant. I was at a screaming match with service becauses I w sales pitch just to get your money! The service people are very deceiving and outright arrogant. I was at a screaming match with service becauses I was trapped with their lies. They quoted me a price on the phone but asked me to pay a much higher price when I came to pick up my vehicle after service. This happened in December 2012 and he did not care to raise his voice against me even at plain view of other customers. He even yelled at me on my way out the door! I wrote a complaint to Chrysler Corporation and the reply was very unsatisfactory. I am launching a personal campaign to my friends and family to avoid this dealer. More
