I came to the dealership for repairs to my 2002 Sebring and after recieving a high repair bill, I was suprised that the Service Manager Tom was willing to work with me to find some middle ground. I ended and after recieving a high repair bill, I was suprised that the Service Manager Tom was willing to work with me to find some middle ground. I ended up buying a new car, too. William Granby is a great salesman and was very knowledgeable and respectful during the sale. I would buy another car at Fair Oaks because I felt that they were willing to find the best deal for me. It is really important that your sales person be knowledgeable about the vehicle they are selling. I'd say about half of what came out of the person's mouth was accurate. They also made a huge num knowledgeable about the vehicle they are selling. I'd say about half of what came out of the person's mouth was accurate. They also made a huge number of assumptions about what we did or didn't want. For example one particular feature was "too complicated" and actually it's exactly what we were there looking for. I'd say the biggest overall disappointment was that no one did their homework prior to us coming into the dealership. We had already let them know exactly what we were looking for and were ready to buy. Turns out that they couldn't even order what we wanted. Five minutes on the computer would have told them that and saved us a trip. Also we asked to work with the specific person and not only did she not remember talking to us but she immediately passed us off to someone else. We wound up going to another dealership (Farrish) and had a completely different experience. $44,000 later we're only sorry we didn't go to Farrish first. More
From the moment we pulled up to the dealership to check out the 2012 Jeep Liberty's we were greeted by and incredibly friendly salesman, Sony Pierre. After Sony showed us what we were looking for, we also out the 2012 Jeep Liberty's we were greeted by and incredibly friendly salesman, Sony Pierre. After Sony showed us what we were looking for, we also found out a friend, Mike Tatum, was a manager at this location. Sony and Mike made sure that the entire stressful experience of buying a new car was as painless and enjoyable as possible, from the moment we test drove all the way until we signed the paper work with Virginia. My boyfriend and I could not be more pleased with the quality of service, and of course with our new Jeep Liberty. Thank you to all that were involved! More
I dealt with Bonnie after getting an internet price quote for a 2013 Chrysler 300 (base model) from Edmunds.com. My plan was to conduct my new car search entirely via email (to avoid telephone sales pitches for a 2013 Chrysler 300 (base model) from Edmunds.com. My plan was to conduct my new car search entirely via email (to avoid telephone sales pitches or showroom hard sells) until I got things down to the last 2 or 3 "surviving" sales reps, at which time I would call them to re-verify their bottom-line "walk-out-the-door" prices before I visited a showroom to close the deal. Bonnie met my every request for detailed information (solely via email) throughout the week-long process. She was extremely responsive, honest, and professional and the ONLY reason she didn't wind up selling me the car was because she would have had to have a car transferred to Fair Oaks while my #2 option at another dealership actually had the car I wanted on his lot ready for sale. I VERY MUCH appreciate the hard work Bonnie did for me. I consider the entire process to have been an excellent experience, and I wish the sale could have gone her way. That said, both my wife and I now own Chrysler vehicles (my wife has bought 3 vans - two Dodge Caravans and her current 2008 Chrysler Town & Country van) and when we next begin the process of buying a new car, we will certainly get back with Bonnie to explore the possibilities. So my wife and I had been shopping for quite a while in the DC area. Dealer after dealer, lot after lot. Tons of interaction, most marginal, some very poor. We had just left from what I considered a rat the DC area. Dealer after dealer, lot after lot. Tons of interaction, most marginal, some very poor. We had just left from what I considered a rather poor experience earlier that day. Browsing the Fair Oaks website from home I ran across a great find that same day, late afternoon on the Saturday before Christmas. They were an hour and a half away so I called for information, asking some questions usually not asked or answer by phone explaining that I didn't want to drive 1.5 hours for nothing. I was greeted on the phone by Bonnie who was extremely friendly, and very helpful throughout the whole process. She answered my questions by phone without hesitation, even the odd ones. Even researched one and called me back. Once I arrived at the lot, near closing time that Saturday, I was met by Thadius who stayed until well after closing. We looked at the vehicle, researched questions, talked, worked on paperwork. At no time was I rushed or felt like I was a burden. His service was spectacular. Soon after I was whisked away to Chris, who had stayed late as well, to look at financing. True to Bonnie and Thadius his service was wonderful as well. Fun, knowledgeable, and no pressure. I felt at ease and was not rushed even though it was after closing. Due to personal reasons I had to return on Sunday to take delivery. Thadius, who had the day off, came in anyway to see me off and deliver the vehicle. Something he didn't have to do... the sale was made. It was great to have him take that time out of his day to meet my wife and get everything turned over and completed. Something I did not ask for... but happily received as the red bow on a great experience. Throughout my process with Fair Oaks I felt totally at ease, not pressured, and like I was with friends. I was very much a valued customer and I would not hesitate to purchase from Fair Oaks again in the future. More
