I recently took my Toyota vehicle to Fox Toyota for a 10k mileage service. It was a bad day. The assistant service advisor appeared to be uninterested in her job duty and had an unprofessional demeanor when mileage service. It was a bad day. The assistant service advisor appeared to be uninterested in her job duty and had an unprofessional demeanor when approaching my vehicle to ask what I was there for. She took my information down and passed me over to another service advisor. The other service advisor tagged my vehicle for service and had it sent to the mechanic. I had asked him if I could get a scratch repaired on my vehicle that was given from an unknown person on back right passenger door. I explained that I am paying for an additional maintenance service with my monthly financial payments. The advisor said that the scratch was too deep and that I would have to pay out of pocket for it in a separate body shop from Fox Toyota. My question now is what exactly am I paying for that Fox Toyota won’t fix a scratch? I was not happy with that response but still continued to let Fox Toyota service my vehicle since it’s still under warranty. To make matters worse, the shuttle vehicle was short handed that day to only one driver. I had to unexpectedly pay out of pocket for an UBER to not risk running late for work. The shuttle vehicle was also unavailable to pick me up from work when I needed to pick up my vehicle. The driver said it would be a 2 hour wait. Although I understand the struggles of being short handed that day, it does not justify the poor quality service I received that day. When I picked up vehicle after it was ready, I noticed there was a film of sand on my front passenger seat and right side dashboard. That was not there when I turned my vehicle in. I also noticed a scratch on my front driver’s side door that also was not there when I turned in my vehicle for service. I keep my car very clean and I expect it to be returned to me the same way. All of my experiences up to this point have been very positive. I just hope this is not going to be a continuous demonstration of behavior from the staff there. Please do better. More
