First they treat customers like car dealers did in the '70s. They take your keys from your car for test driving and don't give them back to keep you in the showroom. After finally reaching a price, I bought. They totally botched the delivery. Cliff lost my spare keys to the new car, didn't put the license plate on the car, no windshield washer fluid and the tire pressure warning light was on. I then noticed a week later that there were no center hub caps. When I took it back to get some, they told me the caps must have been stolen since they wouldn't miss that on delivery. I reminded them of the above items missed on delivery. Didn't matter - they wanted $240 for the caps. I was also told they fired Cliff for botched deliveries. Chris Cooke the service manager went as far as to print out a report that indeed, showed that the car was missing the caps while on their lot, but he had a work order that shows they replaced them. So it was missing them, then, it's missing them now, and they screwed everything else up at delivery, but I am a victim of theft. Also, the day I picked the car up, I noticed a new Z sitting on cement blocks with the wheels missing. Cliff explained that it was vandalized the night before and that they have had a number of thefts on the lot & vandalism against the building.... but someone else stole my caps?? As a compromise, they offered to sell me the caps for $90. No thanks - won’t pay for something that should be on the car when I bought it. Since then, Cliff is now back & promised to get me the caps. That's been going on for a month & he can't get his "boss" to ok it. Cliff also told me there were a number of people with similar issues like this, but that new management is cleaning house. If so, where are my caps?? Like I started off with - they are like a dealership from the '70s - no customer service & screw the customer any way you can. I wish I say a posting like this before I bought! I've bought at least 30 cars in my life time & this by far has been my worst buying experience ever. More
The dealer posted price for the car on the www.cars .com. The price of the vehicle was $21976. The car was meeting my specifications, so I called up and scheduled the test ride. I reconfirmed the vehicle av The price of the vehicle was $21976. The car was meeting my specifications, so I called up and scheduled the test ride. I reconfirmed the vehicle availability and pricing twice before arriving. I came over and reconfirmed the price again. Took a car for a test drive and made a decision to buy it. When I sat down to do the paper work, I was informed by Chuck Desantis, who is a general manager there, that the price is incorrect and instead it should be $27000. When I insisted on proceeding with transaction based on the previous advertized price, I was rudely informed that I cannot buy the car for that amount of money and have to come up with the difference. I will be filing complaint with attorney general about this practice, as apparently this is how the dealership operates. They lure customers with low internet pricing, and then you are ready to sign the agreement, you will be informed that the price is actually different and you have to pay more. Needless to say, that I am one unhappy customer and will never recommend that dealership to anyone. More
I had the pleasure of going to Exton Nissan when my previous car broke down. I am very happy I went there because I have had some bad experiences elsewhere but Mel made me feel very comfortable and was previous car broke down. I am very happy I went there because I have had some bad experiences elsewhere but Mel made me feel very comfortable and was extremely helpful. I did not feel pressured at all and Mel was very easy to work with. When it came down to deal making time I also met with Chuck. He was very understanding about my current situation and I felt like overall we worked well with each other and he worked to reach my goals of the lease. I got a great deal on a 2010 Altima and I absolutely love my car. If you are thinking about getting a new car I would certainly recommend going to Exton Nissan and sitting down with Mel. More
