Darlene found my inquiry on cars.com and when I told her I wanted a 2012 Ford Edge and gave her what color and options. She first started by try to see if I would like to look at Chevrolet. I told her yes not really believing a Chevrolet dealership would try to find a Ford. In the time I was waiting to hear I talked to around 6 to 7 Ford dealerships and all I could get was Ford trying to sale me a 2013 not what I wanted. By the end of the day Darlene called me back stating she has found what I was looking for I was completely shocked. Darlene got with the general sales manager Franky Markle and after talking it through and Franky running a car fax it was exactly what I wanted and more. Franky worked and got the Edge from North Carolina to my surprise when I went to pick it up it was awesome and a perfect fit for me. Not only did Darlene find me that car and options I wanted this was a limited edition with all options plus with the My Ford Touch. Wed Aug 29th I Edge up and was greeted by Franky and Darlene and completed the paperwork and Franky showed some features that he knew off and took my and filled up the gas tank. SHE BROUGHT MY ATTENTION TO AN H3 THAT I SIMPLY COULDN'T RESIST... THEY HAD EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AT THE RIGHT PRICE, ETC... THE THING THAT "HOOKED" US, WAS THE SUGGESTION FOR THEM TO DELIVER THE VEHICLE TO ME IN LITTLE ROCK...NO STRINGS ATTACHED. IF WE DIDN'T LIKE THE VEHICLE, WE COULD SIMPLY SAY NO. I ALSO HAD AN ISSUE WITH MY CREDIT UNION, SO THEY WERE ABLE TO OFFER EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE RATES.. THE VEHICLE WAS DELIVERED TO MY HOME THIS LAST SATURDAY ON TIME AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION...JUST AS THEY DESCRIBED. I found Hatcher Chevrolet/Buick on line looking for a new Buick Enclave. I requested a quote and was contacted the next morning by Darlene. On the way up she called and said they had just sold the new one we were going to see. We went ahead and traveled to the dealership where we decided we wanted a new vehicle in a specific color. We were working with Keith Dodd and the new car sales manager who found us a car at another dealership in the color we wanted. Buying the car was with no pressure, we made a deal, and they picked up the car and delivered it to us the next day, full of gas ready to go. Good experience, I would send anyone I know to them. Darlene at Hatcher's was the most complete in her follow-up. She answered any question I had and worked very hard toward earning our business. In the end, it boiled down to prices being pretty equal, and I'd honestly say that our choice was as influenced (if not moreso) by the friendliness and professionalism of Darlene and everyone we encountered at Hatcher, than it was price. We had the paperwork ready to go when we got there (all in my wife's name-it's her work car and we do that for tax and reimbursement reasons, and it was pretty much hassle-free. We also had the opportunity to meet Donnie HAtcher and his wife while we were there and every employee that dealt with us-and those helping others-was extremely helpful and courteous, too. A very positive buying experience, and, frankly, I LOATHE the generic trip to a dealer to shop for/buy a new vehicle. You usually have to sit for what seems like hours waiting while the salesperson goes back and forth with "Their Manager" and all that. There was none of that here. From Darlene, to the owner, to the finance guy and the guy that explained everything about hte car to us-they were all professional and complete.
