After finding a used car on the Donny Hatcher Website, we called the dealer about the car and a rep told us to come on out and look at it. We were pretty excited about the car since it was something I could called the dealer about the car and a rep told us to come on out and look at it. We were pretty excited about the car since it was something I could afford with my Social Security savings. After arriving at the dealer we were told the car was being cleaned up & would be right out for us to take a look at. After waiting over an hour without being able to see the car, we told the dealer we would be back in 30 minutes & he told us it would be ready to look at. We returned 45 minutes later to find the car was still not ready to look at. The dealer told us that it was almost done and they were about to bring it out. 15 minutes later as we were about to give up on the dealer and the car, they drove it out of service center for us to inspect. The car was not street legal due to broken light covers and missing turn signal bulbs. After pointing these out to the dealer he asked us what we wanted to do about it. We ended up negotiating a cheaper price to make up for the work we'd have to have done on the car to make it legal. We completed the paperwork and paid for the vehicle and drove it home. After a week we had still not received our title so we called to let the dealer know. We were told that the title had been lost and they would have to try and get another one. Three weeks later our title arrived. We drove the car 2-3 times a week to get to town for groceries,etc. After 2 months the car began leaking small amounts of transmission fluid and oil. It wasn't much, so we were able to keep the fluids level by adding to both every couple of weeks. After owning the car 6 months, we noticed the oil was lower than usual. I started it up to see if I could spot what the problem was. The car ran for thirty seconds and then started shooting a large stream of oil from the engine block. Of course we called the dealer to check on our options and were told, "There is nothing we can do for you. I asked if they could at least have a look at it to see what we needed to do to fix it. After a long pause the rep told us ok and he'd send out a tow truck in the morning. By lunch time the next day, the tow truck had not shown up. I called the dealer again, to let them know it had not been picked up. They told me they had no idea they were supposed to pick it up but would send out the tow truck. 2 hours later the car was being towed back to Donnie Hatcher Chevrolet. After 4 hours the service tech. called to let us know that the car had a bad drive shaft and it had ruined the seal & motor. I was informed that the cost of fixing our $2700 car would be $4700 which would cover costs to replace the motor with a used one. More

After ten years with my little 2 door car it was time to take the plunge and upgrade to a larger car. Being very inexperienced in car shopping and having a terrible experience with other Chevrolet dealers in my area I could not have been more pleased with Donnie Hatcher! I LOVED that I was able to see the photos on their website of the actual vehicle I was interested in and not just the manufacturer photos of a like model. Due to my work schedule I communicated some via phone prior to my Saturday trip to take the test drive. The weather was not the best in my area that day. I received a phone call on my way there that they had pulled the Malibu I was interested in up so I did not get wet. WOW! From the moment we stepped out of the car we felt more like friends of this staff than a customer. After my test drive and a few very personal and memorable conversations about the Tennessee Vols :) We were ready to trade! It was obvious that the dealership was fairly busy but, not once did we feel like we were set aside. It was as simple as "Where do you want your payments to be?" And after just enough time for me to catch my favorite Saturday cartoon in the waiting room with my kids-WE WERE DONE! Anyone looking for a Chevrolet or Buick-Donnie Hatcher in Brownsville, TN is where to go! My Children even made the comment when leaving "When can we come back? Those people were cool!" My reply: ABSOLUTELY! I give this dealership 5 stars! The staff 5 stars! and will recommend Donnie Hatcher to everyone! More

The customer service was excellent. I entered the dealership needing a automobile and they delivered. They assisted in giving me a vehicle within my budget and did not push a vehicle onto me that I d dealership needing a automobile and they delivered. They even gave me ample amount of time to get the necessary things together and with no hassle. Donnie Hatcher's staff is concern and treats the customers like their are somebody. My husband and I were looking for a new Buick Enclave on the internet. We located Donnie Hatcher Chevrolet and searched his new inventory. We found just what we wanted, but the dealership was two hours away! We called and spoke to Ms Marsh. She was very nice and was able to answer all of our questions. She gave us a good deal over the phone. After we hung up the phone, we were on our way to Hatcher Chevrolet. We were treated so nice and the deal was well worth driving over a 100 miles. I would highly recommend this car dealership. When we get ready to trade again, we will start with Hatchers!!!! The Marlar's More

They were a pleasure to work with throughout the car research, buying and ordering process. The financial transaction was the smoothest I've been through while purchasing an automobile. My new car was very well detailed and checked out before I arrived at the scheduled time to pick it up, and any questions I had were answered. The service department was very helpful with the dealer installed options and any service questions I had. I am very pleased with the service I received at Donnie Hatcher and highly recommend them.
