This was my second purchase experience with Donnie Hatcher. This experience was just as good as the first! We were looking for a great deal on a new reasonably loaded 2013 Tahoe or Yukon and this de Hatcher. This experience was just as good as the first! We were looking for a great deal on a new reasonably loaded 2013 Tahoe or Yukon and this dealership had one. I didn't think the sales team would be able to get the out the door price low enough for me to afford this vehicle; but they did. We got top dollar for our trade and a very good interest rate. Not every deal can be as good as this one. But like with my previous purchase, we timed it right and the folks at Donnie Hatcher did their best to make the deal work out. We were in and out of there with our new Yukon in less than 3 hours. Everyone at the dealership is friendly. Brownsville is a small town and what you get at this dealership is a bunch of small town, down-home, friendly folks who do their best to treat you right. But don't be fooled because they are small town dealership with down-home friendly folks. This dealership has a good selection of vehicles and the staff are very knowledgeable about these vehicles and how to get you the best deal possible. It was well worth the 50 mile drive from Memphis and I will do it again. More
I recently had a car accident and had to purchase a car. I visited dealers all over West and Middle Tennessee and was very frustrated with the entire "Car Buying" process. I happened upon a car I was really interested in on Donnie Hatcher's website and requested information. Their internet manager Darlene was very quick to respond. I found her very friendly and forthcoming on what they could and couldn't do. After some haggling back and forth, we came up with a price I was comfortable with, so I drove to Brownsville to see the vehicle. Once I arrived, Darlene and salesman Jeff Hollandsworth met me on the lot, handed me the keys to the car and let me take it for a test drive. I was hooked. When I returned I told them it was a done deal. Rick Walters the finance manager, then took over and got my loan through and papers signed all within an hour of pulling up on the lot. Definitely the best experience I have ever had buying a car and guarantee they will be my first stop next time I'm in the market to buy a automobile. Great people there and I highly recommend them. The first time we bought a used car with less than 8000 miles on it and here recently we bought a new Chevy Sonic and yes before our first purchase we went to another dealership trying to buy a car and they jerked us around a week on the car we wanted so the 8th day we went to Donnie's and drove the car home after a couple hours. I would recommend Donnie Hatchers to anyone because Darlene and the rest of the staff will get right down to helping you get the car you want and don't drag their feet about getting it done. More

I was looking for a specifically equipped vehicle that was not available in my area. I broadened my search in AutoTrader and found a couple vehicles that matched what I was looking for at Donnie Hatcher C was not available in my area. I broadened my search in AutoTrader and found a couple vehicles that matched what I was looking for at Donnie Hatcher Chevrolet. The internet price was discounted very good and perked my interest. I received an email from Darlene at the dealership within a few minutes of sending my request for quote and more information regarding the vehicles I was interested in. The quote provided in the email was even better than advertised on the internet which got my interest even more. The thing I appreciated the most about Darlene was that she was not pushy and didn't wear my phone out calling me until I was ready to talk business. That means a lot to me. After several phone calls and emails exchanging information regarding my trade we were able to get to an out the door price that was good enough for me to make the 45 minute drive from Memphis to Brownsville to continue negotiations. Upon arriving at the dealership we were greeted by a courteous staff. The owner, Mr. Hatcher, himself even came out to greet us. They made us feel right at home. Darlene handed me off to Roy who took me on the test drive. Roy was very pleasant and he too was not pushy. We were close on price but not quite where I wanted to be. But the sales staff worked with the financing department and were able to get me a very very very good interest rate which made the deal even better than what I was asking. The transaction went very smooth and quick. The vehicle was delivered very quick and with a full tank of fuel! Darlene has contacted me several times since leaving the dealership with our new vehicle to check on us and make sure everything was going okay. Overall I had a very good experience purchasing my vehicle from this dealership. The atmosphere at Donnie Hatcher Chevrolet was very much like a small town, down home, feeling, like I grew up with most of my life. We were never treated like strangers while at the dealership. The 45 minute trip was well worth the drive and I will recommend this dealership to others and give this dealership future opportunities to earn my business again for future purchases. This place has fantastic people like Diane and lightning fast service. I've been buying new GM cars for over 30 years and these folks make the experience truly a good one. After finding a used car on the Donny Hatcher Website, we called the dealer about the car and a rep told us to come on out and look at it. We were pretty excited about the car since it was something I could called the dealer about the car and a rep told us to come on out and look at it. We were pretty excited about the car since it was something I could afford with my Social Security savings. After arriving at the dealer we were told the car was being cleaned up & would be right out for us to take a look at. After waiting over an hour without being able to see the car, we told the dealer we would be back in 30 minutes & he told us it would be ready to look at. We returned 45 minutes later to find the car was still not ready to look at. The dealer told us that it was almost done and they were about to bring it out. 15 minutes later as we were about to give up on the dealer and the car, they drove it out of service center for us to inspect. The car was not street legal due to broken light covers and missing turn signal bulbs. After pointing these out to the dealer he asked us what we wanted to do about it. We ended up negotiating a cheaper price to make up for the work we'd have to have done on the car to make it legal. We completed the paperwork and paid for the vehicle and drove it home. After a week we had still not received our title so we called to let the dealer know. We were told that the title had been lost and they would have to try and get another one. Three weeks later our title arrived. We drove the car 2-3 times a week to get to town for groceries,etc. After 2 months the car began leaking small amounts of transmission fluid and oil. It wasn't much, so we were able to keep the fluids level by adding to both every couple of weeks. After owning the car 6 months, we noticed the oil was lower than usual. I started it up to see if I could spot what the problem was. The car ran for thirty seconds and then started shooting a large stream of oil from the engine block. Of course we called the dealer to check on our options and were told, "There is nothing we can do for you. I asked if they could at least have a look at it to see what we needed to do to fix it. After a long pause the rep told us ok and he'd send out a tow truck in the morning. By lunch time the next day, the tow truck had not shown up. I called the dealer again, to let them know it had not been picked up. They told me they had no idea they were supposed to pick it up but would send out the tow truck. 2 hours later the car was being towed back to Donnie Hatcher Chevrolet. After 4 hours the service tech. called to let us know that the car had a bad drive shaft and it had ruined the seal & motor. I was informed that the cost of fixing our $2700 car would be $4700 which would cover costs to replace the motor with a used one. More
