Just do your research before committing to anything. Run your own VIN checks and don’t trust everything they show you when you’re there. Look BEFORE you go. Don’t let them take any down payments before you even see the car. Get any promised deliverables in WRITING before you leave if you decide to take the car, don’t just take Ali’s word for it. Also a good idea to get a look under these cars, look for rust, tape, zip ties or panels held on with glue. Oh, and make sure they apply your full down payment to the amount financed, some shady stuff going on with where my cash went. More
I went in exotic motors on 06/17/23. I agreed to the deal I take the car and turn the car on and got 4 lights on the dash. Mind you i haven’t left the lot yet. I sent a message to Ali with a picture of the lights , he was outside parking a car so he pulled up to my passenger side. I tried to roll the window down it does not roll down, i trued the other windows, only 2 work. Ali said the ABS booster might be faulty, i told him that i have to get to work and i will bring the car back to have it repair. Meanwhile, the dealer orders the part and calls me to bring the car in. In terms of the windows , i didn’t even mention it. 2 days later , i am driving about 40 mph, the steering wheel locks up, the Ac turns off, the brakes lock up, my lights went off and i get a list of warning messages. I almost got in an accident I call Ali 3 times, i message him, no answer. Got an uber to the nearest autozone and picked up a battery, went back to the car and replaced it. The car turned on fine. Next day it did the same thing. I towed it to a mechanic. My mechanic told me that i have a small drip of coolant fluid from the radiator, the alternator is faulty and the battery is drained out , i spent $1900 within the first 3 days. I called Ali the next day to let him know whats going on, no answer. Very typical I called the dealer , i spoke to Shawn (Sean), i told him of the situation, and i requested to speak to a manager, he said there is no manager available. He told me that he will let the manager know and have him call me back to set up an appointment to get the ABS booster fixed. I didn’t get a call back that day. 3 days later i picked up the car from my mechanic, alternator was changed, radiator was changed, and battery was changed. Drove the car for a good 4 days without any issues, then the car starts acting up. Doesn’t pull, has a hard time accelerating, choking and basically in limp mode. I called Ali with no answer, i called Mike (finance guy) , he told me to get in touch with Ali. I told him I’ve been trying to. No care in the world. I had 3 remaining days of work for the week, i used uber all 3 days back and forth to and from work. I text Ali that i will be bringing the car back on Monday 07/03. He said they were off until after the 4th. On Wednesday the 5th i go to the dealer and sit for an hour to be spoken to. Ali shows up, up to this point i am calm and collected. He said the my car was sold and i cant return the car ( it hasn’t been 2 weeks). This is where i start getting frustrated. How in the world do you sell my car when you haven’t even paid it off . He responded with “ no body told you to go and spend $1900 to repair the car” i told him the i called him a thousand times and called the dealer but i was brushed off. And what else am i supposed to do in that situation. The manager “Rudy” jumps in and tells me that the mustang is still in the lot. Ali is a liar!! Why would he tell me its sold! Rudy told me to leave the car there and they will have it repaired. Woooof, some type of relief right!? I left the car there from 07/05 until 07/15. I used uber everyday those ten days. Ten days later, i pick up the car, I turned the car on and drive for 30 seconds, all the lights cane back on. only to find out that they only replaced a hose that goes from the transmission to the radiator and added some transmission fluid. 10 whole days. Since the 15th, I’ve been calling Ali, Mike, Rudy, and the shop, no body answers The gist of this is every single on of the staff that I’ve dealt with has dealt with me in bad faith, and has lied to me More

Rudy was prompt to promise they would make it right. The car went straight to a shop and was diagnosed with major engine problems. The check engine light was a code for unmetered air finding its way into the engine. In this case, it was being sucked in through the front main crank seal due to the crank hub being severely out of round (almost a tenth of an inch). Repair estimates are starting at $10k. They tried to get me to take it to a dealer where they would pay for a second opinion, but never followed through with committing to have the bill in their name. This car had the same problem with the last owner before exotic motors had it (front main replaced 1k miles ago at another shop who reported it to Carfax, I called them and they had the exact same diagnosis). Rudy was all promises until the time came to buy the car back (their choice, I was fine with it), now they are ghosting me. I have never raised my voice to them or swore at them. I keep my cool. Exotic motors on the other hand (mostly their guy named Ali) has accused me of various scams and crime xxxxxxassociated with this car to defraud them. If you want the best reference in the world, call an attorney in the Chicago area who practices dealer fraud law (not lemon law). Ask them if they have ever heard of exotic motors I called to find an attorney and was shocked to find out how famous this dealership is with local law firms. My experience is not rare. It is the norm. These guys are flipping the cheapest auction cars they can find at retail prices and completely concealing all the issues they have. I have never been treated this bad in a car deal in my life. More
DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE! ! I bought a Porsche cayenne turbo and the airbag suspension failed 15 minutes after I left the dealership. Please do not make this mistake. Unfortuna ! I bought a Porsche cayenne turbo and the airbag suspension failed 15 minutes after I left the dealership. Please do not make this mistake. Unfortunately I did not see all of these terrible reviews on yelp beforehand. Do not do business here. I originally posted this review which ownership called immediately asking me to take down the review and they would fix my car. I showed up at the dealership, waited around for a couple hours and then the owner came over and got in my face, threatened me, swore several times at me and refused to fix any issues and told me he would not be honoring any contract we had (a couple items were in the IOU of the contract). Complete silence and lack of response to several voicemails and text messages. This business is the worst of the worst. I’ve since had to take the vehicle to a Porsche dealership where they informed me repairs would be over $6k and it was apparent Exotic Motors knew of the issue and tried to hide it. I will likely now have to look to an attorney to deal with this. Please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this dealership and the unprofessional and rude people that work there. I’ve never been sworn at before by any establishment, let alone a business I bought a vehicle from! More

At one point they refused to ship me the car because they said they didn’t make enough money on the sale, and wouldn’t deliver a car I already paid for until I gave them more money (seriously?!?). Shout out to my favorite Exotic Motors henchman Mr. Mike Galati (of the Galati crime family) for using such mafia style tactics instead of making good on a deal. I actually had to call the police and report the vehicle stolen since I already had the title and they refused to release my car. The car finally arrives and there’s no air coming out of the interior vents. The radio is also malfunctioning as the switches don’t work consistently. I took videos and sent them to Rudy and he assured me they’d make things right and cover the cost to fix the issues. So day 1 with my car and I’m already taking it in for repairs at the direction of Mr. Ramirez. Ford comes back with the estimated repair costs and Mr. Rudy and the Exotic Motor crime bosses are now telling me they won’t cover the $2,000 bill to fix the car. The owners apparently want to have the car shipped 1400 miles back to Chicago so they can fix it themselves and resell the car to someone else for more money. Keep in mind, Rudy TOLD ME to take it to Ford and they would make it right. This ain’t making it right! Ya know, if they would just pay for the repairs like they promised, I probably wouldn’t be writing this 1 star review right now. I could forgive them for the 45 day delay, the money (insurance + loan interest) and time I’ve lost, and the shady crap they tried to pull while I was waiting for car to get here. But conmen will be conmen. There are so many other lies and absurdities I’m not even mentioning here because I don’t have the time to go through all of them. Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT BUY A CAR from these henchmen! You will get a dysfunctional vehicle they WILL NOT FIX! Take your business elsewhere and AVOID THIS DEALER! UPDATE 5/03/2023: I finally got a chance to speak with Adam the General Manager about covering the costs of the repairs and I am just in absolute shock at what this person said to me. Not only did he say they would not cover any amount of the $2000 bill, but he taunted me over the phone bragging how I got “xxxxx by Exotic Motors” and I could “shove the keys up my a**” while insulting my deceased mother, saying he’d sexually assault her too. That wasn’t even the worst of it but I don’t think I need to say much more. I can’t believe this sorry excuse of a human has actually made it this far in life and I truly hope they seek mental advice because Mr. Adam clearly isn’t stable. An absolute disgusting human. I don’t know if Exotic Motors is a national chain, or if Adam is the highest guy at the only location in the country, but if there’s anyone above Adam, I highly suggest you remove this toxic individual from your business because he will bury you in the long run. To those ever considering a car at this dealership, not only should you avoid buying a car because you’re guaranteed to run into a mechanical issue they won’t fix, but you should avoid them because of grotesque humans like Adam. I actually feel sorry for people like Rudy and others who have to work in such a toxic environment. It explains why they operate the way they do. Toxicity comes from the top and trickles on down! The car was definitely NOT the car ALI described to me during the purchase process. I specifically asked what work had been done to the car and ALI told me the car had an exhaust, carbon fiber trunk/wing and intake. Come to find out after taking the car a mechanic to look at the other MAJOR issue that I discovered they told me the following, Exhaust, Tune, Intake, fuel rails, coil over shocks, bigger injectors fuel management system. Don't get me wrong, all of these things would be great if I was looking for a built GTR, but I was not, I was looking for a reliable GTR to add to my exotic rental fleet. ALI also told me that the car was brought in by a local customer that traded it in on a Mercedes. Come to find out by the paperwork left in the glove box, the car was purchased at a Carmax auction. I was not born yesterday, I do expect used car salesmen to lie, unfortunately it is the nature of their beast, but all of these factors go into the decision-making process when I was deciding if I was going to purchase the car or not. I asked ALI specifically if there were any scratches, dings, dents or damage to the car. I asked how the paint looked in person and how the tires were on the car I was told paint was near perfect and tires were new. I asked how the car ran, if there were any issues with the car mechanically. ALI assured me that there was no damage to the car, other than normal wear and tear, that it ran perfectly. After a closer look at the car once it arrived at my home, it was anything but what ALI answered in response to my questions. Let me start with a major acceleration issue. As in the car will not accelerate past 4-5k rpm's without drastically losing engine power. Apparently the tune is incorrect and running rich. I have attached pictures below of the issues that I have discovered and the shop that I took it to discovered. The photos are all listed numerically (I will attach) and will coincide with the numbers below and snippets of our conversations about each issue, Pictures 1 - 5 are all of where the clear coat and paint were damaged by the unskilled person who removed the vinyl wrap off of the vehicle. The wholesale paperwork from Carmax states that the car had a "vehicle wrap." I am familiar with what happens when an unskilled person removes the vinyl and cuts through the paint. Picture 6 is of the front passenger side bumper where there are several cracks from what looks like where someone hit something on that side of the car. Picture 7 is a golf ball sized dent above the rear driver's side window. Picture 8 is of the broken marker light on the driver's side that is barely hanging on. Picture 9 is of the scratch in the paint on the front driver's fender. Picture 10 is of the rear passenger quarter panel damage. Picture 11 is of another area of the passenger rear quarter panel that has been damaged. Picture 12 is of the area around the passenger taillight that has paint damage. Picture 13 is of the rear carbon fiber diffuser that has a 6"-8" scratch on it. Picture 14 is where the rear carbon fiber wing attaches to the trunk and too long of screws were installed and has broken through the carbon fiber Picture 15 is the same damage as above (number 10) but on the other side of the wing. Picture 16 is the error message that was showing (and still is), upon delivery of the car. It states "Engine system malfunction visit dealer:" Picture 17 is the other error message that was showing (and still is), upon delivery of the car. It states, "Service engine soon" and also shows that the car was empty. Picture 18 is of the computer at the shop that read the error code "P0175 Fuel system - rich (bank 1)." Picture 19 shows the date code on the tires as 0419 (04/2019). You informed me they were new. Picture 20 is of the assured factory manual with the car More
