(Let me say before I continue that I have been goi On October 3, I took my car in for a level 3 tune up this also included obtaining a loaner vehicle. (Let me say before I continue that I have been going to this dealership for a while/bought my car there and had never had this experience) However, to continue, when I went back for my car I noted that the windshield was cracked (about 12 inches or more). I informed the service staff who came out and one took a picture and was immediately dismissive of the fact that the damage could have been done on the premises. While this was being addressed another service person came to inform me that I did not fill up the loaner car ( which I had as I was told that morning that it would have cost $5/gal to fill up at the dealership). I must admit, I was upset at having two things happening at the same time. The service person insisted they would have to charge me for extra gas, I refused. Back to my windshield, I was told someone would contact me the next day, and when they did, they again reiterated that the damage was not done by them and went on to say there were cameras around. I asked for the service manager who was not available but I was told he would get back to me. This took close to 48 hours. When the service manager called, he started by saying that his staff did not inform him of damages to the car which they would have done if it was due to their negligence and he reviewed the films and he is sure it was not them. He went on to say that the attendant informed him that my visor was down and therefore I did not see the damage on the passenger side of the car. I assure it the damage was not there when I left my car and neither was there a markup of damages on the receipt I got for the monies I paid for my car. Overall, the way I was "handled" as a customer was below the standard of Subaru. I assure you I will never use this dealership again and will go elsewhere for my regular checkup. thank you. More

We explained our situation to Lyndsey over the phone and came in and met with the service manager Nick. He has gone above and beyond (and then some) to make sure that our family was taken care of. We can't begin to explain how grateful we are for everything they have done. We ultimately needed a new engine for our STI and Nick made sure we were taken care of with their parts department as well. Bill, the parts manager made an everlasting first impression on us. We have made sure that friends and family in the area know how well we were treated here. Everyone we encountered through our whole experience here has been great. Nick, Lyndsey and Bill are assets to the team and we look forward to continuing business here. More

It was making a noise they tried telling me nuts were welded and spray painted on my drive shaft. I asked them why they hadn't noticed that last time. They tried to tell me someone did it as a prank. Complete b.s. they couldn't figure out what the noise was so they tried to get me to replace my drive shaft so they could get money out of me. The service guy was super rude as well. These guys are crooks. Stay away! More

For the past few months I have been dealing with a rattle when I drive the car around. The mechanics performed an evaluation of the vehicle (again something that I consider to be a good thing for mechanics to do) and was told that the rattle was being caused by my heat shield and that it would be $75 to weld the heat shield back on. I got a second opinion from an auto body shop and was informed that the heat shield is actually made of tin and cannot be welded without causing damage to the shield. I expect more from a service department located in a dealership. All of my previous experiences to that point had been acceptable, but this shows that I cannot trust this service department for any future work and would recommend to anyone that reads this article to get a second opinion before accepting the word of any service department representatives. More

I have been doing business with Exeter Subaru for over 8 years, having bought my previous Outback from them, and have found them to be excellent with the service of my car. Outstanding service - It is rare to have a great experience when bringing your car in for service but it is just what I had. Called in the morning to schedule an appointment for brake problems and experience when bringing your car in for service but it is just what I had. Called in the morning to schedule an appointment for brake problems and was pleasantly surprised to told I could come in at noon. From the first phone call to the "check in" and every step in between, I was given unsurpassed customer service. My car problems were explained clearly to me while actually looking under my car and solutions suggested. I was not pressured into making any unnecessary repairs or fix items that could wait a few months and the work was done in a timely fashion. Although I did not ask for a loaner car, I was offered one that I used for the 3 hours that the work was going to take. Upon my return, the bill was reviewed and explained, future, suggested work was clearly written down on my invoice for reference and all this in a friendly, honest and pleasant atmosphere. Everyone from the mechanics, to the front desk and service representative were incredibly respectful, friendly and genuine. NO arrogance here! I highly recommend servicing your car here.
