I went in hesitant because I had had a recent bad experience with another dealership so I was not looking forward to dealing with anyone. Right off the bat I was able to walk the entire lot with my wife without being bothered by anyone which allowed me a stress free look at all the cars I was interested in. After having a good idea of what I wanted I walked in the door and was greeted by Max Bzdafka. First impression what a down to earth, funny, genuinely nice person. Max took the time to listen to what I had to say and reassured me that he was here to help me get into the right car that I would be happy with and he would be up front with me through the whole process. After discussing what I didn't like from my old car and the style of car I was thinking about we walked onto the lot and Max quickly identified two cars I was very happy with. After some quick gathering of info Max brought me two sets of numbers on different vehicles. I told him where I needed to be and he came right back with my number no haggling or anything. Picked up my new car the next day and I couldn't be happier! I'll be recommending Exeter Subaru whenever I have the chance! More

Unhappy Recent College Grad I want to start this review off by saying the negative experience I am currently having with the dealership is due to my poor judgement. I will get mo I want to start this review off by saying the negative experience I am currently having with the dealership is due to my poor judgement. I will get more into detail later. I waited until I have had my used car for about 2 months before writing this review. At the dealership, my experience was almost perfect. The salesperson was great (John Dube), but they did try to get away with an extra $90 charge, which I called them out on and it was removed. Now onto the car. When I first got my 2011 Hyundai Elantra, it ran with no big issues besides a rather strange and loud noise on start up. After about a week or so, the car would struggle to turn on. So I brought it into my local mechanic and he gave me the low down. In short, he said that I was sold a car with an engine almost at the end of the downhill slant. He also said that there was at one point an oil issue (the car drove for a while without oil). To compensate for it, the previous owner overflowed the oil, so the mechanic drained that for me. So I called this dealership to try and get some of my questions answered. Now this is the point where I screwed up and had poor judgement. I bought the car as is. So the dealership said, in a nutshell, they will not do anything about it and that they must have missed the oil being overflown. They offered me a complimentary inspection to get an opinion, but no repairs. As a result, I'm here with a car that I have to pray will turn on when I need it. I've resorted to walking to work (which isn't necessarily the easiest) since it is more reliable than my car. I am mad at myself for buying the car as is, and even more mad that the dealership has the audacity to sell such a bad car. I know this is mostly my fault, but I think it would benefit others to see this. If you plan on buying a used car here, just be careful about the condition. Their booklet may not have it all. 2/5 stars for the great customer service during the buying process. More
