I found Dan Maynes very knowledgeable about the car I purchased. He managed to get the absolutely lowest interest rate for my loan. I'd visited several other dealers before going to Exeter. I felt comfortable the very first time I walked in, with their no pressure, laid back atmosphere. It took me over a month before I finally decided what was perfect for me, and Mike was patient the whole time. He was extremely knowledgeable about each vehicle, and genuinely wanted to see me with the best vehicle for me. I felt I was treated with respect during each visit and I believe I received the best price possible. No pushy sales here!! I can only hope their Service dept. is just as trustworthy. More

I walked into Exeter Subaru the day before Christmas having driven 900 miles from NC in a car with 150,000 miles which had become problematic. While I knew something about Subarus, I had never driven o having driven 900 miles from NC in a car with 150,000 miles which had become problematic. While I knew something about Subarus, I had never driven one. I talked with Mike Emerson about what I wanted, lifestyle, dog etc. and started out to drive a model that became immediately clear was not the right one for me. We went back and picked up the Outback with 10,000 miles which was perfect and which I bought the day after Christmas after another test drive and drove away with before supper. Mike was great! My overall experience was positive and the negatives were mainly because I was in a hurry. The pricing could have been better had I done more comparison shopping and finalizing the deal seemed to take a very long time. I would recommend Mike and Exeter Subaru. More
When I started shopping for a Subaru Forester, I had looked on-line and knew that it would be hard to find the model I wanted with the options I wanted in the color I wanted. I stopped in at Exeter Suba looked on-line and knew that it would be hard to find the model I wanted with the options I wanted in the color I wanted. I stopped in at Exeter Subaru and much to my surprise they had EXACTLY the Forester I wanted. I also knew that it would be very difficult (OK, impossible) to get a new car at the monthly payment I could afford. Tim told me it was his job to make it happen -- and by gosh, he did! I walked in on a Sunday afternoon and drove my new Forester home on Monday! Tim is a miracle worker! It was a delight to do business with him and with all the folks at Exeter Subaru. They really do treat you like family! More

The General Manager has a "Doesn't care attitude" and if he loses a customer like me and he has lost me forever, his attitude is doesn't care. As I was having a conversation with him he turned his back and walked away with his words of " can't please all the customers all the time" and he just kept walking even as I was trying to hold a conversation with him. The disgust with my Tribeca was so bad that after 5 weeks of owning it I traded it in, I had been a Subaru owner with a Outback since 2007 and now have a Toyota Highlander due to the General Manager and his attitude !!!!! More
