I made three trips to Exeter Subaru all told, with the final one to pick up my 2008 Forester. It was excellently detailed, and looked (and performed) as I was promised it would. I was impressed with my Product Specialist, Jennifer Morse, as she wsa forthright and complete in her explanations of all I could expect from this vehicle. I even was lucky enough on the evening I did my test drive to be able to zip around in traffic that was not too heavy, so my trip was not bogged down! All-in-all, it was a pretty fine experience, and I got financing which I could live with as well. Thanks Exeter Subaru! More

My dealer, John Webster, was very hospitable and friendly, but the whole buying process was longer than it should have been which took over 4 hours of my time. It seemed as if the dealership were ob friendly, but the whole buying process was longer than it should have been which took over 4 hours of my time. It seemed as if the dealership were oblivious that I wanted to buy a car from them and forgot that I was even there. The dealers were also very stubborn and rude about negotiating the price which left a sour taste in my mouth. They also did not care to send the spare keys until a month had past after I bought the car when I had already bought a spare keys online that cost me hundreds of dollars. The only thing that I might add that was whatsoever positive about my experience was that fact that my mother got the referral check that she was promised. My 2007 Volkswagen Convertible works very well and is in pristine condition, but the overall experience was horrible. More

New buyer, purchased a used outback. Discovered many issues, one the week after signing. The dealership informed me of 3 major repairs that needed to take place as soon as the warranty expired. Scam. Don't work with him, and especially not with Exeter Subaru. The dealership wouldnt even negotiate with me a few months later when trying to resolve these issues that they were obviously aware of when selling me the vehicle. More

She spent the better part of a Saturday (busy days for car sales) with my family and I never felt like her attention was anywhere but with us. I had planned to buy a certified pre-owned (which I had done at Exeter Subaru for my last car) but the price for the 2014 was not much more and totally worth the extra money. The business manager also deserves a special note....that part is usually the painful part of buying a new car, but he was friendly and down to earth, and very clearly explained all of the options and made sound recommendations. We got a great deal on the price and the financing. Love the car and love the place! There is another Subaru dealership closer to my home but my husband and I travel the extra miles to go to the Exeter dealership - everyone is friendly, and you never feel rushed or pressured to buy. They really seem to care about the work they do and about getting you in the car that's right for you. We will definitely purchase our next car there as well! More

I had narrowed my new car search to just a few brands. I am in sales myself and was appalled by how little effort was made to help me. So the next day I drove an extra 45 minutes to visit Exeter, and it was worth it. I was greeted by Rob (internet sales), who I had spoken to on the phone, and he introduced me to Mike Emerson. He was polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took his time to point out small features of the Forester that I would not have been aware of otherwise. By the end of the test drive I really felt that the Forester was the best choice of vehicle for me. It was done in an upbeat and professional manner without ever feeling pushed. I also told him as a woman shopping for a new car alone, I felt that sometimes car salesmen try to take advantage of that. That was not the case with Mike. He and Josh worked with me and I felt that I had exactly the car I wanted at a fair and reasonable price. I had really just come in to take another look, but with the information Mike provided and the price and financing worked out to exactly what I was looking for, there was no reason to wait and I purchased my 2014 Forester. I couldn't be happier. More
