Hi Bruce, sorry to hear that this was the worst dealer experience of your life. Just wanted to clarify a few of your points. You did in fact request a quote online. The vehicle that you requested the online quote for was a vehicle that was in stock, on the lot. This is the same vehicle that was ready for you to test drive when you arrived. A 2020 Outback Onyx edition. When you came back from the test drive, you said you didn't want that car and that you wanted a Touring edition. You accused us of doing this intentionally. However, we printed off the email request that YOU sent to us. It showed that the VIN on your request and the VIN on the car we prepared for you matched. At the time you acknowledged your mistake and apologized. You then requested to see numbers on the Touring, which is $5000 more expensive, so yes, there was a price "change". But we did not have one in stock and our understanding was that you were not prepared to wait the few weeks it would've taken for us to secure one for you. So you went back to the Onyx edition, at the originally quoted price. This "4 hour" exchange was in fact less than 2 hours. Not only does our computer software timestamp everything we print, but you arrived at the store at 2:30 in the afternoon. We close at 5:00 on Saturdays. When you came back to pickup the vehicle, your payment went up due to personal reasons I will omit from this, but you were informed of this "change" days ahead of your appointment. Lastly, when you accused us removing the all weather mats, we explained that they are not standard equipment and are an added accessory. With the window sticker, we demonstrated that they were not listed and were not present at any point. And you actually paid $85 for the mats, the retail price is $132 but we gave you a discount because of your confusion. Feel free to reach out if you would like to discuss further.
