I did not end up purchasing a car through Subaru. I found a brand new vehicle elsewhere, at a reasonable price, with the exact options I was looking for. However, Karissa was awesome! I went to Exeter Subaru to look at a few different models. I met Christian as I stepped onto the lot, but he was not pushy and very friendly. This was the more expensive car and Christian did not push me in this direction at all, which I appreciated. I had visited Exeter Subaru about four or five months prior to the time I knew I would be purchasing a vehicle. During that period, I vacillated over buying used, new or leasing and a very influencing fa prior to the time I knew I would be purchasing a vehicle. During that period, I vacillated over buying used, new or leasing and a very influencing factor of my final decision to buy came from my relationship with John and his commitement to answering my questions, staying in contact but never crossing that line into become an overly aggresive saleperson. The whole experience was made refreshingly simple for someone who is a first time car buyer and rather uncertain about what I was looking for. I would recommend John and the dealership to anyone who may be looking for advice, service or purchase. More
Follow up. I bought my 2008 Subaru Tribeca in June 2011. On the test drive there was a noise (like a heat shield rattle) was told they would fix it. Never did. Ive owned the car for 2 months now, we drove half way across the country with it. It was ok for the trip but in general I hate it. A/C failed several times.. cant get the windshield wiper to stop making a terrible racket. Just not a very comfortable car over all. Going down high at high speed (highway)the front brakes shake the whole front end. There has been NO follow up from the dealer at all. Otherwise i would have rated them higher. More
