I needed a car and knew I wanted a late model used Subaru Forrester or Outback. I went online to Exeter Subaru (where I had purchased a late model used Honda Element a couple of years earlier) and looked at Forrester or Outback. I selected 4 that I wanted to look at and called Chris Lydon to ask for an appt to come see them, which he set up at a time that worked well for me. We looked at the 4 and a couple others, I decided on a Forrester based on headroom and style and then test-drove two -- I selected one of those two and completed all my purchasing paperwork that day -- it was an easy and comfortable process and it happened even quicker than anticipated, which was great. I've just passed the Honda I bought here to my son and now have a lovely commuting car that I think really fits my needs -- thanks Christian and Exeter Subaru :-) More

The day after buy a 2006 Forester from Exeter Subaru, a knocking could be heard from the front of the car while driving at low speed. I brought the car to my mechanic for an inspection sticker and asked hi knocking could be heard from the front of the car while driving at low speed. I brought the car to my mechanic for an inspection sticker and asked him to look at it. He determined that the front passenger side sway bar link was worn out and need replacing. I called John Webster the salesman who sold us the car and told him of the problem. John took care of it immediately and set up an appointment to have the car service free of charge. The service department completed the work promptly replacing both sway bar links as suggested by my mechanic. When the person from service department called to let me know the car was ready, he professionally explained to me in clear terms what had been done to the car and politely answered all questions. When I arrived to pick up the car, the car was ready and the service the transactions was handled swiftly without delay. All in all a very positive experience. More
