Individuals of this character are the ones that give a dealer a bad reputation. Having experienced what recently took place, I will not consider any new purchases from Executive Honda. Up to this point my experience with Executive Honda was a positive one to the point that during the past 10 years I made more then one new vehicles purchase from this dealer. Mr. Guerin with his unprofessionalism has totally changed my opinion on Executive Honda and moving forward I will not be purchasing any vehicles from Executive Honda.. Buyers beware when dealing with Mr. Guerin in the finance department at Executive Honda. More
I brought my Honda Element to Executive Honda, 1194 North Colony Rd, Wallingford CT, for an oil change, ignition system check, and for a squeaking wheel. They told me the vehicle needed extensive repairs, in Colony Rd, Wallingford CT, for an oil change, ignition system check, and for a squeaking wheel. They told me the vehicle needed extensive repairs, including suspension and exhaust, exceeding $4900! The repairs were highlighted red on an estimate form, stating that they required immediate attention. I was told flanges on the exhaust system were rotted bad and will break very soon. Some of the work they quoted included repairs that they had already done a half a year ago! For a second opinion, I took the vehicle to another established auto repair company, who confirmed only a loose heat shield and fixed it for $45. Honda quoted $120 to repair the same heat shield. I took the vehicle to yet another established auto repair company, and they too could not see any of the problems noted in the Executive Honda assessment. Executive Honda was claiming my vehicle urgently needed extensive and costly repairs that are apparently completely unnecessary. Because of this I have lost all confidence in their credibility and integrity. I will not be going back. If you go to Executive Honda in Wallingford and get a repair estimate, do yourself a favor and get a second opinion. More
So far, I have had a very pleasant experience with Executive. The Salesman Manu Serohi was really helpful in the decision making process. He was knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond. Our experience was great. The staff was friendly, accomodating, and not pushy at all. We found our car at the end of the day on a Sunday, went back Monday afternoon to see it. We had a very frank discussion regarding the price and were able to work out a deal we were happy with at 3:30. We returned at 5:00 with our trade in vehicle cleaned of our personal effects. The car had been cleaned and prepped, and our paperwork was ready to go. We were out and on the road by 6:00! The entire experience was much better than I ever would have expected from any car dealership. I would buy from Executive Honda again without hesitation. Ask for Khaled, you won't be disappointed! Luke was very helpful. He took me on a few test drives and helped me plan out my purchase at a reasonable price. Initial price from sales manager was ridiculous but he quickly helped negotiate to a fair and helped me plan out my purchase at a reasonable price. I gave this rating because when I walked through the door at Excutive Honda in Wallingford Ct, Dominick was the first one to greet me and for some reason we just connected. I had no intention to lease a new at Excutive Honda in Wallingford Ct, Dominick was the first one to greet me and for some reason we just connected. I had no intention to lease a new vehicle that day unless I could keep the same lease payments I had on my 2011 CRV or lower. I received a letter from Executive saying they were very interested in talking to me regarding my 2011 CRV and at first I thought it might be a scam, but I decided to check it out and very happy I did. Bottom line is 4 hours later I was driving out of Excutive with a brand new 2013 CRV and it was because of Dominick's customer service/ professionalism and his sales manager's (sorry I don't remember his name maybe David) willingness to get the deal done. Very happy with the way I was treated and my wife is very happy she is driving a brand new car. Thank you, Tom Eaton More
