Good Morning, We received a copy of your survey and wanted to respond. The fault in the electrical circuit, for the stored trouble codes, was a brake in wiring. Unfortunately, the wiring circuit, stretches all the way from the electronic control module in the front of the vehicle, through the body, and continues to the rear of the vehicle, above fuel tank area. The removal of components to gain access, tracing of the wiring inside the body, and the restringing of a new circuit, is extremely labor intensive and time consuming. At times with electrical faults, a simple repair at a certain connector will suffice, but at other times, such as this one, the wiring is embedded within the body and behind components, causing a larger amount of labor time. We do appreciate you coming in to see us, and we hope that in someway, that this helps clarify the repair details. We did see that we were able to give you some monetary discount, at time of pick up, to help with the charges. We respect your business and thank you for seeing us hear at Chevy.
