Excel Auto Lounge Nov 23, 2024 fatoM Michael Fanto Plainsboro, NJ, 08536 FatoMichael9@gmail. com November 22, 2024 Excell Auto Lounge 521 US-130 East Windsor, New Jersey, 08520 Servi Fanto Plainsboro, NJ, 08536 FatoMichael9@gmail. com November 22, 2024 Excell Auto Lounge 521 US-130 East Windsor, New Jersey, 08520 Service manager MARK GOLUB, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the service and experience I have encountered at Excell Auto Lounge. I purchased a 2014 Cadillac ELR (VIN: 1G6RM1E46EU600571) from your dealership with the promise that the vehicle wrap would be removed. Unfortunately, the removal process resulted in chipped paint, and now I am being asked to cover the repair costs, which is unacceptable. Additionally, my car has been in your possession for 15 days, during which I am still responsible for making loan payments. Despite numerous attempts to get an update on the status of my vehicle, I have not received any calls back. The only communication has been through uneasy emails with faulty explanations, which has been highly frustrating and reflects poorly on your customer service. Upon further investigation through a CARFAX report, I discovered that the vehicle had been involved in a structural damage accident, as well as a blown head gasket. This is information that was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. This omission is not only unethical but also illegal, and I am prepared to take legal action if necessary. The vehicle had pre-existing issues that were not communicated to me, and as a result, it has spent nearly half of my ownership time at your service center. To resolve this matter amicably, I am requesting the following actions be taken: 1. Cancel the loan for the Cadillac ELR and refund the down payment I made, enabling me to purchase a vehicle from a reputable dealer without it being marked as a voluntary repossession. 2. Alternatively, switch my current vehicle with one that has a clean title and CARFAX report. I have identified several such vehicles and can provide you with the details. If these issues are not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to the Better Business Bureau, pursue legal action, and share my negative experience on all social media platforms. I hope we can reach a mutually satisfactory resolution. I expect a prompt response to this letter, and I can be contacted at the information you guys already have on file. Sincerely, Michael Fanto More

I bought my car in August 16 2024. I was on temp disability so they gave me a car I can afford..now mind you it said the car was 10,000 dollars but after financing it was well over 14, I was on temp disability so they gave me a car I can afford..now mind you it said the car was 10,000 dollars but after financing it was well over 14,000. So it had wrap on it,and they promised they will take it off,I asked what happens if u Chip the paint of,the manager said in front of the salesman that we will fix that when we get to it. Well they chipped all my paint and won't fix it. Also I been complaining about my engine acting up and I was putting 3 quarts of oil every week n a half..they wouldn't look at my car they said when my tire comes in,a ripped tire is on the car..but they said when it comes in they will set the appointment..I said no please there is something wrong with my engine..they wouldn't do anything...so on November,6,2024 my car stalled out, broke down and white smoke pouring out the exhaust, they sold me a car that was broken already and was ready to break. Now i called and they said they have their earliest appointment Nov 21 2024,but they will get to my car sooner. They said the mechanic is November 7 will be back the 8th and I should have my car the next week...well I called everyday for 8 days and Noone called me or picked up. Than later that night on the 8th day they said Noone got to my car yet,and told me how I was wrong and they will get to it when they feel like it cause people with working cars have appointments, well it's the 22 that's 16 days later still no phone calls and no car...and they still won't answer the phone and call me...a 14k car I git duped...It was definitely broken when I got it. Im.taking ubers and Lyft paying more than my car payment...they won't even offer me a loaner car to drive until they get to it. .this is the rudest place and most disrespectful people ever...they are very unprofessional...I asked to return the car many times since I gotten it. And they kept saying no.not fair. I just want my money back or another car that works.the Head Gasket is not suppose to die 11 WEEKS More

If I could give a negative review, I would. These people are SCAM ARTISTS! I would never intentionally give anybody a bad rating but this exceeds the amount of negative that I can even express These people are SCAM ARTISTS! I would never intentionally give anybody a bad rating but this exceeds the amount of negative that I can even express to you! To start- We worked with a salesman named David. (I had called the prior week to make an appointment to go see the car, they said they would have it ready for me, when we got there we walked to the back of the lot where we noticed the tires were completely bare, and then we see 4 lug nuts missing. We tried to start the car, it was dead and had to be jumped. Then took it for a test ride and realized they had put the mileage below 100,000 on the site, yet it was over 100,000 on the odometer. Also, the car shook so much we couldn’t take it but around the corner and back to excel auto. I was then asked by David, if I wanted a different car and was asked if they took the lug nuts and tires off a similar vehicle would I take it that day? I said no, in which he told me, Okay we’ll cover the new tires on us. Everything sounded okay before we left, until we found out the $10,890 car we thought we were charged, was actually $18,600 (with a mandatory $4,000 down). We were also told if we paid by cash it would be $4,000 extra. David seemed like a really nice guy, but so does every other scam artist until you fall for their scam. I signed papers, but they never, ever, said the full amount until you get home an hour later, check the papers, they’re closed, and now you’re freaking out trying to get ahold of them-and they ignore your calls. I texted David who blamed Ryan (his manager) who then blamed David. So we contacted and waited for Ryan for some resolve. He walked right past us many times and didn’t even acknowledge us for an entire hour and the place was dead. I would NEVER pay $18,000+ for a used vehicle, when I can pay that for a brand new vehicle? David showed us a diagram (that’s how they try to break down the “Pak package”) which is $6,560 extra. David said it was included. They also never discussed all the other extra fees like powertrain for $1,795 or gap insurance for $1,000. When they pass you along to RYAN- in the finance department, make sure you’re aware what he is having you sign! Not one word came out of his mouth about the “add-ons”. These “packages” are supposed to be “optional by the buyer” and he never asked, just assumed we wanted it. When you get hit with double what you intended to pay, you’ll feel scammed to! Be VERY careful and please don’t make the same mistake we did! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! More

They reel consumers in buy false advertising the cost of their vehicles. They mandate a $6,000 "In-house warranty" that is useless. After we purchased our vehicle, it failed within 30-days. It sat in thei their vehicles. They mandate a $6,000 "In-house warranty" that is useless. After we purchased our vehicle, it failed within 30-days. It sat in their garage for a month. They fixed it by putting in after-market used parts, and the vehicle immediately failed within the first week of having it back. Their sales tactics are immoral and downright disgusting. They will push you to do a 5-start review during your purchase. I assure you any positive review is false and inaccurate. More
Total waste of time and scam! I called them early in the morning and was told that I would be able to buy the car with cash and would not get charged with any fees. Once I arrived I called them early in the morning and was told that I would be able to buy the car with cash and would not get charged with any fees. Once I arrived to test drive the vehicle I was told by David the salesman that there was another person there to test drive the vehicle right after my test dive. During the test drive I told David I liked the vehicle and would like to give a $1000 deposit to hold the car and would be back the next day with cashier’s check for the balance. While waiting for the second potential customer to complete the test drive the salesman tried then they try to sell me a $3,600 package for car maintenance things that over a year wouldn't cost you more than $1,000 total. They charge you a $900 documentation fee. When it takes their employee 20 minutes tops to do the paperwork so they're just soaking money out of you for that doc fee. So, what was an advertised $9,000 vehicle they wouldn't sell for less than $15,000 in cash. Talk about bait and switch. Stay away from this place. Check out all the 1star reviews! More
