I'm telling everyone I know that we bought 2 cars using text messages! Best car buying experience ever. My wife and I test drove both of the cars we had picked out online, and were out the door with 2 sets of keys, an hour and a half after our arrival. The reason why I visited Ewing Buick in Plano in the first place is because I had such a negative experience at the Buick dealership in McKinney, which by the way has very poor customer service and ther first place is because I had such a negative experience at the Buick dealership in McKinney, which by the way has very poor customer service and there were times when I just wanted to poke my eyes out it was that bad!!! The dealership in McKinney was the first dealership that I had visited when I started my search for an Encore. I had test driven an Encore there and really liked it. Well they didn't have the Encore with the color and features that I had wanted but they promised to get me one from a sister dealership. Well I wasted an entire week of my time dealing with them which included 2 days on a Friday and Saturday of just me sitting around waiting for them to call me to come do my paperwork and see my car etc. What was frustrating is that I was the one who had to keep calling them asking for status updates. In the end they were never able to get me the Encore they had promised but they promised me for the 5th time for me to give them just one more day and they will have it blah blah. I was beyond frustrated and fed up with the Buick dealership in McKinney that I decided to take my business elsewhere. As soon as I walked in the doors at Ewing Buick in Plano, I was immediately greeted by Kevin St. Louis which was nice because at the McKinney dealership nobody greeted me after I hung out in their parking lot looking at Encores and then I had to go inside and ask someone if I could test drive an Encore etc. So my first impression of Kevin St. Louis was great. I told him what I was looking for and he immediately went to go get keys for me to test drive. While I was waiting for Kevin, the sales manager Larry Hallman also came out of his office and greeted me with a smile and a handshake. Not only does Ewing Buick in Plano have more inventory to choose from but they also have better customer service. The best part is that they also had the Encore that I had been looking for. Larry and Kevin not only took care of my new car needs but they also made me a much better deal than McKinney had offered me. They also made me a great offer on my trade-in vehicle so how could I refuse??? I signed my paperwork and drove my new Encore home that evening!!! Kevin even told me to come back the next day so that he could get my new car washed and detailed since the service had already closed etc. The next day I dropped my car off on my lunch break and Kevin put me in a loaner Encore so that I could get back to work. When I returned to pick up my new car after work, Kevin took 30 minutes to show me the different features of my Encore. He programed the blue tooth iin my vehicle to my phone and he also called OnStar in my vehicle so that I could do the welcome introduction etc. After becoming familiar with all of the buttons and controls in my Encore, Kevin made sure he had answered all of my questions. He told me to give him a call anytime if I ever had any questions. I drove away a very happy and satisfied customer. I've had my new Encore for 2 weeks now and I just love everything about it! I'm so thankful for Kevin and Larry.....because of them they turned my bad car search experience into a positive one! I will always recommend Ewing Buick in Plano to all of my family and friends! I have been buying new and used cars for 40 years. This was the best experience I ever had. I did my homework so I knew what I wanted to pay. I live on the other side of the metroplex so when I called I really didn't know anything about Ewing Buick GMC. From that first phone call, all through the sale process, and even after the sale (yes - called I really didn't know anything about Ewing Buick GMC. From that first phone call, all through the sale process, and even after the sale (yes - he followed up several times after the sale to make sure I was happy) I found them to be the best place to handle picky customers like me and my wife. Our salesman was Noble Mhlanga and he understood what we needed right away and bent over backwards to make us happy. We had our eyes on a Mercedes-Benz and when my wife saw a spot on the seat, and I found a tire that had a strange bump, both issues were fixed the very next day (they replaced the tire with a new one). After some research I wanted to make sure the wheels were original equipment so he had service pull off a wheel and read the ID and markings to me on the phone. We bought the car and we love it. If you go ask for Noble. He tells you straight and will work to get you the best financing deal too. He will get first shot when I'm ready to buy again. Thanks Noble! More
After buying a truck a couple years ago at this dealership, I decided to go back for a second car. I was looking to trade one of my vehicles, but after visiting with two different vehicles, it is e dealership, I decided to go back for a second car. I was looking to trade one of my vehicles, but after visiting with two different vehicles, it is evident the sales management is not interested in paying fair market trade in value. The pricing of their new vehicles is good compared to market, but I was able to get significantly more for my trade elsewhere. I would recommend to anyone with a trade to go somewhere else as this dealership undercuts fair market value by almost half. Then I received the standard garbage about values not being accurate. Of course it's somehow accurate on their inventory, just not mine. It's not a fair practice and I would steer anyone clear of this dealership! More
