The history of Ewing Buick GMC began in 1940 when Fin Ewing's grandfather, Bruton Orand, moved from Waco to Dallas to take over the management of Morris Buick. Soon after, Mr. Orand started Orand Buick at 2128 Cedar Springs near downtown Dallas, the present location of The Crescent. Mr. Orand probably didn't know at the time that he was founding a family-owned business that would span over 70 years.
His first challenge was to weather World War II. This was a time when tires were not available and gas was rationed. In fact, one might say it was the worst possible time to go into the car business! He persevered, however, using the basic principles of serving the customer and maintaining a high level of integrity, and as a result, his business prospered.
When Bruton Orand died in 1961, his son-in-law, Finley Ewing, Jr., who had gone to work for Mr. Orand in 1957, took over the business. Under Mr. Ewing's leadership, plans for future growth took shape. In 1972, Mercedes-Benz of Plano was formed and became the owner of the newly-awarded Mercedes-Benz franchise, setting up shop at new facilities off the Dallas Parkway. In 1973, the Orand Buick name was changed to Ewing Buick before it relocated to its new facilities off the Dallas Parkway just north of Mercedes-Benz of Plano.

My husband and I found the Yukon we wanted online at Ewing Buick GMC, four states away. As soon as we contacted the dealership, we were greeted by the manager, Jerry, and connected with our salesman, Cl Ewing Buick GMC, four states away. As soon as we contacted the dealership, we were greeted by the manager, Jerry, and connected with our salesman, Clayton. Clayton went above and beyond to get us the info we needed on the Yukon, which included videos, detailed pictures, and prior service information. He even FaceTimed my husband so he could see the RPM’s of the vehicle was it was starting up. Clayton worked to get us the best possible price imaginable for a Yukon SLT with the luxury package. Once our price was agreed upon and we were ready to move forward, Clayton insured the vehicle was detailed and any body work concerns were taken care of and handled. We flew into DFW and Clayton was there to greet us and take us to Ewing Buick GMC. The Yukon was just as described and portrayed to us. Although we came with our own financing, Faison and the finance team worked to get us an even better rate and a wonderful deal on a warranty. Ewing Buick GMC really knows how to take care of it customers, no matter if they’re local or across the country. Great experience with Oscar & Ewing GMC for used 4runner. I've purchased a new GMC SUV here previously, but didn't think about a used car here. I found a well priced 4runner online here so called & spoke I've purchased a new GMC SUV here previously, but didn't think about a used car here. I found a well priced 4runner online here so called & spoke with Oscar Mora. 30 minutes later and I was testing driving the car. Oscar was fantastic. He was patient and knowledgeable about the car and the process. He explained Ewing's process of used cars and their inspection process before putting a car for sale. Oscar was not pushy and didn't apply any cheesy sales tactics. The "negotiation" was a few questions and comments and took less than 10 minutes. I met the sales manager and was very comfortable in the buying process. Even finance was a breeze. As most people know, the finance side can be pressure with unnecessary add ons. Finance department was also great. Fazon? walked me through some warranty options that were well priced. The closing was quick and easy. I went there to test drive a car for my first visit and ended up buying a car during my lunch hour. More
